Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:NazzKing the legendary life of this iconic celebrity illustrious career
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:NazzKing the legendary life of this iconic celebrity illustrious career, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sulfurboy (talk) 15:40, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Hello, Ramsey555, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Velella, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, NazzKing, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/NazzKing.
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Velella}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- As Velella wrote, You can leave a Keep comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/NazzKing and also work to improve the article while it is up for deletion consideration. At the end of the consideration period an Administrator will decide to keep or delete. David notMD (talk) 14:43, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
- These are the comments from the person who nominated it for AfD: "No evidence of notability. Sources are weak and mostly blogosphere. No evidence of chart success and sources don't seem to confirm claims made for them. Fails WP:SINGER." In the opinion of this person, career not (yet) notable to justify an article. David notMD (talk) 00:20, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- Listing a few awards is valid, and if referenced, consider returning to article. in my opinion the Community work section is weak, and should be removed. Important you add a comment at the deletion consideration, stating that you are working to improve the article. David notMD (talk) 13:35, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- I cleaned it up a bit, but you should still comment directly at the deletion discussion and continue to try to improve article. An Administrator will make a decision in 7-14 days. Good luck. David notMD (talk) 16:07, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

At the delete discussion, click on Edit at the top, then go to the bottom and type *Comment. Highlight the word Comment and click on the B to make it bold. Then write your comment. Won't hurt, might help. David notMD (talk) 16:11, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks so much for the support that you have given me sir,God bless you.I was able to comment on that issue successfully all thanks to your guidance♠.I have made edits and included more source evidence to support the Page.I feel discriminate when they say the awards are not notable enough ,may is it because they are African Awards?Anyway upcoming genuine artist also need too be appreciated and documented in Wikipedia despite their levels of awards because no one starts by winning Grammys.The awards are notable and many respected Artist in that part of Africa have won it.Ramsey555 (talk) 21:47, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- I am glad to see that you have entered the debate at AfD. Be polite there, and not overly wordy, and not repetitive. In the end, one Administrator (not one of the people who have been participating in the AfD), will make a decision. My own opinion (I ma not an Admin) is that you have made a good faith effort to improve the article's content and referencing. This may be enough, or may be too soon in NazzKing's careeer.
