Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Evan Spiegel.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Eagleash (talk) 15:23, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. — LeoFrank Talk 11:17, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
2017 ICC Champions Trophy
[edit]Hi. Please note that the final group places will depend on the net run rate in the Sri Lanka/Pakistan game. Therefore, please do not update the semi-final places until this match has finished. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:09, 11 June 2017 (UTC) . Sorry that didn't come to my mind. Thanks. User:Rajesh.Pramanick09 16:15, 11 June 2017(UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Super Boxing League
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Super Boxing League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hayman30 (talk) 07:59, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
"ATK" / Atlético de Kolkata / Amar Tomar Kolkata
[edit]Please do not change the full name of the club (whichever it may be right now) to the unfamiliar and unofficial abbreviation "ATK". Take a look at WP:COMMONNAME - we use the term that's best understood and most used by reliable sources, not the name that a single co-owner has said he wants a club to be known by. This is particularly so when - according to the reliable sources - the club's official name hasn't even been changed. See http://www.dnaindia.com/sports/report-atletico-de-kolkata-to-be-just-atk-from-now-goenka-2510678. I'll be changing your reverts back again, and please leave them for now, at least until reliable sources adopt the terminology that the owner has said he prefers. Thanks. JohnInDC (talk) 02:36, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- I appreciate that the old name may not be entirely appropriate any more, but the fuller names have the virtue - necessary in my view - of telling the uninformed reader what the club "ATK" is. "ATK" is just a series of letters, meaningless to most. lético de Kolkata or Amar Tomar Kolkata at least indicate that it's a sporting team from Kolkata. "ATK" is simply too obscure to use, particularly when the term isn't defined anywhere else on the page. Thanks. JohnInDC (talk) 02:42, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- The team identity has been changed to ATK after the disassociation with Atletico Madrid. Now ATK means Amar Tomar Kolkata but team won't be called 'Amar Tomar Kolkata'. This is scenario like iPhone and most other Apple products, the 'i' in prefix stands for internet but no one calls it internetPhone. But the team is still officially registered as Atletico de Kolkata as of now and they have also changed their logo which has 'ATK' in it and not 'Atletico de Kolkata'. BTW Sanjeev Goenka is majority owner after he bought stakes owned by Atletico Madrid, just saying. Thanks Rajesh.Pramanick09 (talk) 3:03, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- No, the "i" doesn't stand for "internet". It doesn't stand for anything. It's just a letter, it's just "i". Nowhere is it officially or unofficially "internetPhone". That's just someone's imagination. As for the team, it remains officially Atletico de Kolkata. They want to rebrand themselves as "ATK", which is not their official name, and sort of kind of also as "Amar Tomar Kolkata", which is also not their official name. If you want to change the references to Amar Tomar Kolkata, go ahead, at least it's less confusing; or maybe, "Atletico de Kolkata (ATK)" or even "ATK (Atletico de Kolkata)"; but ATK is not official, not common, and standing alone it is confusing it doesn't improve the encyclopedia or make it any more useful to change the references to that. Thanks. JohnInDC (talk) 03:14, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- Also before changing the Wikipedia references to "ATK", it really isn't too much to ask that the team's own official website, http://www.atleticodekolkata.com, reflect the change itself. I'm not saying that the change will never be appropriate, but rather than until it takes better hold, it's premature at the very least - and may always be confusing to anyone other than football fans in Kolkata. JohnInDC (talk) 03:23, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- At the time of writing this I am watching live stream of 2017-18 ISL Players Draft and every time the team is called by 'ATK' and not 'Atletico de Kolkata'. However, in round 3 of draft the male anchor mistakenly says 'Atletico de Kolkata' for which he immediately apologizes. Thanks Rajesh.Pramanick09 (talk) 05:31, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- That is certainly helpful. When most outlets are on board (certainly including the team itself) then it will be appropriate to revisit the issue. We still have the problem of conveying what "ATK" is to the people who have no idea that it means a football club in Kolkata (being that it doesn't give any indication of it in those initials). JohnInDC (talk) 09:07, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- Now the name of the team has been officially changed to ATK. You can have a look at Indian Super League(ISL) official website or any other official social media account or website of the team or ISL. Thanks Rajesh.Pramanick09 (talk) 13:28, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
- Great. Now when unaffiliated third parties begin to use it as the team's common name, then Wikipedia can reflect the change. JohnInDC (talk) 14:45, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

ATK
[edit]Hey, please refrain from changing Atletico de Kolkata to ATK in the history section of the Indian Super League page. Historically, they were Atletico de Kolkata for 2014 to 2017 up till now. For past tense sections like the history one, you use the name they had back then, not the one they have now. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 16:32, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
The article Super Boxing League has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication of notability - proposed to have occurred but didn't.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PRehse (talk) 17:02, 15 November 2017 (UTC)

- I am in favour of deleting the entire section since there has been no citations added since 2021(except for one which i added). Rajesh.Pramanick09 (talk) 04:20, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Please see WP:USI. Rather than being a deletionist, it is better to be constructive and try to build Wikipedia articles by actually working to source tagged sections. In this case, it is clearly not
doubtful [that] any sources are available for the information
