Happy Holidays
Howdy, hope you're doing well and wish you the best for the coming year. Take care, Postoak (talk) 05:12, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
Population language of city articles
RJN, I have left my suggestions about this THE Official Estimate in several columns.. I have written to you personally several times and you have not responded once to any of my comments. You continue to delete my posts that I spend a lot of time gathering accurate information for. I am a busy man. I am 48 years old. DO NOT DELETE MY POSTS AGAIN WITHOUT DISCUSSION!!! I have a user talk page and there is a user talk page in Houston and elsewhere. I have corrected my revision and still you do it again without discussion. I am trying to work with you here.Mattscards (talk) 02:45, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
RJN, discuss this section with me. I have posted reasons in WT CITY Talk: New York City postoak and several other places. I have asked an administrator to give you a cooling down period man.Mattscards (talk) 03:14, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
At least while we are having this dispute can you at least put the population at 2.25 million? It is a better representation of what the population is. This is not what I want, but at least while this is going on it gives Houston a better representation with your changed official post. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattscards (talk • contribs) 05:21, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
How old are you anyway RJN? I get the feeling now I am dealing with someone my daughter's age. I don't want any disputes from you, but hear this. I have never lost at any level to anyone who says it is my way or the highway as your attitude suggests. Please edit my posts with caution. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattscards (talk • contribs) 13:45, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
RJN, I don't have a problem with you. I see your posts. You do an excellent job. It is unfortunate we got off on the wrong foot. I have never had to ask permission to be listened to. I am from the Houston area and I see you spend a lot of time in these areas. I hope one day we can build a mutual respect for each other. I could have posted some other responses to your comments on my page but I want to end the flare. The population issue is still alive, I will let this cool down and gather the information for this and post it in the talk:Houston and talk:City. By the way, I never questioned your intelligence. You did with me. Mattscards (talk) 13:36, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Good Job
Anyone who thinks the exact population statics is the real number is not to bright. Keep up the good work on San Antonio and Houston. I will assist in reverting the numbers to a rounded off number rather than an exact value as you have been trying to do. I also graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1984 and have a Masters degree in Computer Science, but I hate English and spelling and it probably shows! (Note: people die every day, people are born every day, people move in every day and move out, how can anyone think these exact numbers are correct?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rlbarton (talk • contribs) 04:41, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
civility/NPA
Can you take a deep breath and edit this comment according to WP:NPA, WP:CIVIL, and WP:OUTING? No matter what another (newer) editor does, it isn't an excuse to retaliate (WP:NOTTHEM). tedder (talk) 20:03, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
