Joe Philbin - Nickname Edits Removed
Please can you explain why you will not allow the nicknames of Rugby League Player Joe Philbin to be added? A large amount of Rugby League players have nicknames included on their Wikipedia page, and I provided two references to support the use of these nicknames. One being his player profile on the official club website, the other being his own personal (verified) twitter account where he uses this nickname. We are attempting to make these changes as a friend of the person and do so in good faith and are (we believe to be) complying by wikipedia guidelines and referencing correctly. Please can you advise why these changes are being removed and perhaps help us to display them in a format supported and accepted by wikipedia? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cliveyyy (talk • contribs) 15:50, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
FYI
Firstly, thanks for leaving a message on User talk:61.214.53.95 to communicate with User:61.214.53.95. In the future, when confronting blatantly disruptive editors, it is often best to report the user at WP:AIV (after they have been given 3-4 warnings and appear to be unquestionably vandalists) as User:prmcd16 did here. Please feel free to reach me on my talk page or ping me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. --JustBerry (talk) 05:25, 13 December 2016 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi Quinton Feldberg. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! -- samtar talk or stalk 10:24, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

Chris Philp
I understand you edited my added information concerning Chris Philp.
Here are my reasons for including this information.
1. He is described as a 'serial entrepreneur' I believe details about his failed businesses ie. Clearstone, should be as relevant as all the successes already mentioned.
2. He is on the Treasury Select Committee, has spoken about corporate responsibility, David Cameron and the Panama scandal, MPs publishing their tax returns yet has businesses registered offshore in Jersey..
I agree maybe information concerning his brother Clive's business interest and his wife's business interests maybe not as relevant.
Previous users appear to be editing out information which may appear negative and keeping in the positive, and it concerns me that they are working for/ friends of Chris Philp or Conservative Party and therefore have a conflict of interest.
Please advise.
Many thanks.

- And I see you've moved on to mass rollback of all the named sock account's edits. Please, I encourage you to take pause before continuing, because as was pointed out recently in the SPI, not all of this person's edits are completely unreasonable, sock or not. Wikipedia:Dealing with sock puppets#Deleting articles or article edits explains it nicely. Otherwise, when in doubt, just use common sense. Sro23 (talk) 02:39, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
- "If they have the most recent edit and it isn't adding anything to the article" That seems to describe all of his edits. Quinton Feldberg (talk) 07:59, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
- But most of the time, it is adding something to the article. I'm not going to review every edit you just reverted, but taking just a quick glance, I see that this edit was a good one and so was this one. Date warrior socks or not, these editors are making sure articles fall in line with MOS, and more often than not their changes are helpful. When socks fix obvious typos, we let their edits stick, so why is this situation really any different? Technically I guess you were allowed to do that, but to me it's just reverting for the sake of reverting and only adds to the disruption. Sro23 (talk) 11:50, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

"Robbery laws in the United States" and Rollback
Hi there. I noticed your reverts on Robbery laws in the United States (currently a redirect) and wanted to let you know that this is a situation where rollback should not be used as its usage is contrary to our guidelines for utilizing the tool, to quote "[it is] considered inappropriate to use [rollback] in situations where an explanatory edit summary would normally be expected." In this case, a user unilaterally decided to redirect a new article without discussion and the article creator (who is a brand new editor) undid and continued to try and improve the article. As this is a content dispute and not simple vandalism, rollback is not the proper tool to utilize as advanced permissions should never be used for reverts other than pure vandalism, clearly disruptive conduct, own mistakes, etc. I know that when using Huggle it can be difficult to see the nuance but it is important you keep this in mind when doing anti-vandal work (especially when using semi-automated tools, for example Huggle reported the user to AIV for action after your reverts) as we want to be welcoming to new users and not scare them off. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, Mifter (talk) 19:59, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

Full Service Network
Yes, you keep removing some of the additional services that were on the FSN, especially the sports items. These were ground breaking at the time, worthy of Sports Illustrated articles, and a precursor to today's tv applications. Please add the two sentences back in to the area under Pizza. If you want to keep the Full Service Network piece from Pittsburgh, that was added in at a much later date by the company in Pittsburgh, feel free, but they had nothing to do with the Time Warner FSN — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:282:102:7DAA:2536:40B8:5F24:7446 (talk) 20:55, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

Bryan Fuller
I have recently been restoring what I firmly believe to be wrongful deletions to the article; such as: the seemingly blatant removal of all mentioning of Star Trek: Discovery based solely on the fact that he had to leave due to other commitments. He is still forever credited as co-creator, exec producer, and writer; no reason for removal; period. Also, my deletions of multiple article links in the awards and nominations section seems to be an issue; although I can't see why that is a problem; common sense would indicate that we don't need multiple links to same article in one section, no? I truly apologize if I have enraged you for any reason, but I can't understand why this is such a problem. I have reached out to you using my actual account, so before you revert again, please message me to discuss this. If nothing else: keep ST: D in; please. - Cartoon Boy (talk) 04:10, 1 May 2017 (UTC)

This is one of the reasons why wiki is pointless to edit and will never be considered a professional source
Users like you are the reason why nobody really cares about wikipedia anymore except people who obviously have no time on their hands but to harass and protest other users. What a shame. However, I didn't come here to discuss that. I came here to discuss your reversion of my edit.
My removal of currently outdated and self defeating information on the Hitman: Absolution article was completely valid and by all means allowed, and I will be removing it again.
Here is why: This quote --> "...Reilly Brennan, and studio head of IO Interactive, Hannes Seifert have confirmed that Hitman: Absolution will be coming to Xbox One via backwards compatibility. It is plan on making the game compatible but it's currently unclear when the game will be made compatible." "
is simply no longer CURRENT! The 360 version of the game IS WORKING on Xbox One as of TODAY. I own the game for gosh's sake!
I didn't even add any text, as the other half of the "Backwards Compatibility" section is VALID! Quote: "...On 14 February 2017, Hitman: Absolution was made available via Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One." is a correct statement! It even has a link for citation!
I did not remove that part of the article in malice. I did it because it is simply out of date information. It blatantly states this itself!

NBA Playgrounds
I am fixing the vandalization done to the Wikipedia page by some individuals that insist on censoring vital information. The game requires a constant internet connection even for offline and local play. Victims would buy this game and lose $20 as this information is actively being hidden and now these vandals are aiding the developer in censorship. Please help make Wikipedia a proper place for important information and stop helping vandals & censors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.26.72.4 (talk) 11:14, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

Regarding reversion of Emotion
Good day, Feldberg. I came to my attension that my previous contribution regarding Wikipedia:Peer review/Emotion (Carly Rae Jepsen album)/archive1 has been reversed because "it did not appear constructive". May you kindly explain why the edit was not constructive please. User DIPLOMAT'S SON wanted his editing of Emotion to be reviewed, stating that he needed help with neutrality. I gave my advice regarding why the article is class B and not class GA and what changes need to be made, eg phrasing and word choices. Been new to Wikipedia, I am confused as to why my advice was unconstructive. May you kindly explain your reversion please? Thank you very much -张雨涵 (talk) 18:17, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi Quinton Feldberg,
You appear to have made a large number of AIV reports recently via Huggle that either aren't vandalism or are being reported after a Level 4IM warning when its not appropriate to do so. Can you double check to ensure that when using Huggle level appropriate warnings are issued before reporting someone to AIV so as to keep the backlog of reports to a minimum. If you need guidance on advice on the specifics of using Huggle there are plenty of operators of it who would be willing to help.
Amortias (T)(C) 20:39, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, you don't appear to have read the above notification so please:
* Desist from issuing 4IM warnings for low level vandalism- Respond to peoples queries about why you have reverted their edits when they ask for more information otherwise its likely to just continue
- Stop reporting IP's to AIV after a single bad edit.
- If not its likely someone will pull the rollback right and prevent you from being able to use Huggle at all.
- Amortias (T)(C) 21:05, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- This editor was never given a 4im warning and I do not recall issuing any 4im warnings today, nor can I find any in my contributions history. Can you provide diffs for any 4im warnings I may have issued? Quinton Feldberg (talk) 21:17, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, have re-reviewed and the 4IM warnings look like they were issued by others prior to you reporting them to AIV, there are declined AIV reports because of this and several unanswered questions above (and below) that need responding to. Anti-vandalism work is not just about reverting vandalism (though most of it is) but explaining to those who you reverted why it was done when asked to explain it as the templates are about as useful as a chocolate teapot when advising people exactly what's wrong. If someone's questioning why you reverted them in a calm and appropriate manner its less likely its vandalism and more likely that its lack of knowledge of the editing policies and more can be gained from discussing this with the users in question. The fact taht youve started replying does allay some of the concern I had earlier but it would be beneficial to respond to the other queries on your talk page about reverts you've actioned. Mandela effect
I don't think my edits were that helpful to the larger article on collective false memory, but they were helpful to the smaller topic that redirects there on the Mandela Effect. If you are going to redirect it there, then that section, which is currently only 2 paragraphs, should include an explanation of why many people believe the origin of the effect is George W. Bush. Bush made many inaccurate statements over the years, but here we have a collective false memory of Bush having a false memory that people falsely remember having given rise to a popular name for collective false memories. That seems pretty helpful at least to the collective false memory portion of the larger article. If you want to take out the part about Bush Sr. and the funeral, well, that I have no problem with. Those are just interesting tidbits that are not really important to the point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18F:902:8D90:94E4:43E3:5391:60C5 (talk) 16:34, 3 August 2017 (UTC)

AIV reports and inappropriate use of rollback
Hi Quinton. You recently reported 188.29.164.172 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) at AIV for vandalism. When I looked at the anonymous user's edits from today, it was absolutely clear to me that they were not vandalism. This is another instance in a recent pattern of you reverting good faith edits and reporting editors to AIV that are not vandalizing (see Special:Permalink/793603954). In addition, you used Huggle and rollback to revert these good faith edits without an edit summary and have done this several times recently.
I ask that first, you pay more attention when on vandalism patrol. Reverting good faith edits, warning users who did not vandalize, and reporting users to AIV who are not vandals drives people away from Wikipedia and wastes time of administrators. Second, you must not use Huggle and rollback to revert good faith edits. If you continue to misuse rollback, your rollback right will be revoked. I will note that on other occasions you have been doing a good job at fighting vandalism—the main issue is you need to be more conscientious when editing. Thank you, Malinaccier (talk) 21:17, 5 August 2017 (UTC)

Changing wiki page name
Hi Quinton Feldberg! Thanks for your message.
In creating the living personalities page for "Ko Sesha", a tamil language writer from India, I missed to add the "_" in the link (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/KoSesha), hence the page title is displayed as "KoSesha" as against "Ko Sesha". I created an alternate wiki page, this time with the correct page name (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Ko_Sesha).
How do I now delete the originally create page?

- Yes, it was revdeleted and is now admin-only, as it was grossly offensive vandalism referencing among other things 9/11 and a banned user and their global blocks. The fact you can't see it is indicative of how inappropriate it was to thank the user for it. -- zzuuzz (talk) 08:22, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- User has been incorrectly or insufficiently warned. Re-report if the user resumes vandalising after being warned sufficiently. The user was blocked without even a level 1 warning. - But can you explain to me, what part of "{{subst:welcome-anon}} ~~~~" says thank you for vandalizing Wikipedia? Quinton Feldberg (talk) 08:48, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- It's quite simple - after the aforementioned grossly offensive vandalism, and only vandalism, you said "Welcome - Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay". This was clearly not an appropriate response to this vandalism. BTW you seem to have left me a message on some stranger's talk page, which is only going to cause confusion. That aside, I'm just informing you about how inappropriate mass welcomes can be. All I'm saying is, please be more discriminatory. -- zzuuzz (talk) 08:54, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

"monotheism, belief in the existence of one god, or in the oneness of God. As such, it is distinguished from polytheism, the belief in the existence of many gods, and from atheism, the belief that there is no god. Monotheism characterizes the traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and elements of the belief are discernible in numerous other religions." that's what it says in the reference... Can you read or not? how is Deism, hindusim, Sikhism, Greek, Zoroastrian, Buddhism monotheistic religions? Source? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SiddarthWest (talk • contribs) 19:18, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- @SiddarthWest: You don't seem to understand the difference between "Abrahamic" and "monotheistic." All of the Abrahamic religions are monotheisic, but the Abrahamic religions are not the only monotheistic religions. Monotheistic just means a religion believes in only one God. Deism, Zoroastrianism, and Sikhism definitely only have one God, even if they are not Abrahamic. Monotheism is not "exclusively defined" by the Abrahamic religions.
- Judging from this, you also don't seem to know what qualifies as vandalism. Go read WP:NOTVAND.
- Also, while any information added to the site should cite a professionally-published mainstream academic or journalistic source, it's hypocritical for you to demand a source when the erroneous material you added did not have a source either. The material you deleted cited multiple sources, not just Britannica. Ian.thomson (talk) 19:35, 9 August 2017 (UTC)

- The only God in Zoroastrianism is Ahura Mazda. The pantheistic forms of Hinduism teach that everything is ultimately just a facet of Brahman (not just monotheism but straight up monism). As for Hellenism, if you bothered to read the article you'd see that it specifies only particular streams in Hellenistic religion, not all Hellenistic religions.
- Thinks about this: how many gods are acknowledged in Deism? How many gods did the Hellenistic Hypsistarians worship? And what is the difference between monotheistic religions and Abrahamic religions? Ian.thomson (talk) 20:42, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
Ok you got me on Zoroastrian... but nearly ALL hindus practice polytheism. Even the sects that say they are monotheistic... the next thing you know they are praying to a plastic idol of X in one temple. Then praying to a plastic idol of Y (another fictional entity) in another temple... you don't call that monotheism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SiddarthWest (talk • contribs) 02:09, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Welcomes
Hi. I notice you've been leaving a lot of welcome messages, which is great for our new editors. May i suggest you could be careful/selective as you add them, take a look at the contributions of the editors you welcome? I'd point out that on several of the editors' talk pages Cluebot has immediately afterwards left warnings, as i just have, and, in fact, at least one editor you welcomed has immediately been blocked for vandalism. Random or blanket welcomes might well give the wrong impression, don't you think? Happy days, LindsayHello 08:05, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Block on MacTheSlayer
Hi, Quinton Feldberg. I see you recently blocked a user called MacTheSlayer. It appears they are still making a lot of unsouced edits to political pages and they seem to be changing sourced material to represent other ideologies / claims that the citations do not support (as seen on their 'user contributions' page). Not sure if they have got past the block, or maybe a new one should be issued, as they seem to be doing similar stuff to what got them blocked in the first place. Helper201 (talk) 22:49, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

- Oh right, apologies. Helper201 (talk) 22:53, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- Just to note, Helper201, some of MacTheSlayer's edits are perfectly fine, referenced additions (e.g. at Social Democrats (Ireland). Quinton Feldberg, if reverting what isn't obvious vandalism, please use edit summaries. Regards, BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 08:55, 11 August 2017 (UTC)

From Jsgoyburu
Hi! I'm not a new user but rather a very specific one. I've been here before and had the same discussion about the article on state sponsored terrorism during Argentina's last military dictatorship, which english wikipedia insists on calling "Dirty War", even though that is a charged and REALLY not neutral term in Argentina, since it's the description of the facts given by the military junta and its apologists.
The introduction of a "military conflict" infobox is, for the same reasons, egregious. I really want to put a POV check on that, but I also don't want to sound like a troll. Should I do it? and,if so, how exactly? (technically, I mean. What would be the correct syntax?) Jsgoyburu (talk) 03:31, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

I have a question
Hi Quinton Feldberg! I have a question and hope that you can help me: On the page Kardinal-Frings-Gymnasium I wanted to use the Template:Interlanguage link, that you can go to several pages, which only exist in German, espacially for notable alumnis. The problem is that the sites of Markus Kurth and Bruno Kahl already exist in English, but not from the persons I need. Becuase of that, the link would go to the wrong page. I hope you have an idea for the problem, thank you and goodbye --KL052 (talk) 23:30, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi there. I see that you are adding issue numbers to some citations in articles. I usually omit them because they are not useful identifiers at least for chemistry articles. Citation changes
Hi, you're continuing to make changes to citations that are incorrect. Consider the change you made at Gladiolus dalenii, where you changed
{{cite web | last = | first = | authorlink = | coauthors = | title = Southern African Gladiolus | work = | publisher = Pacific Bulb Society | date = | url = http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/SouthernAfricanGladiolusThree | format = | doi = | accessdate = 2 June 2013 | archiveurl = | archivedate = }}
to
{{cite web | last = | first = | authorlink = | vauthors = | title = Southern African Gladiolus | work = | publisher = Pacific Bulb Society | date = | url = http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/SouthernAfricanGladiolusThree | format = | doi = | accessdate = 2 June 2013 | archiveurl = | archivedate = }}
The original would work if |last=
, |first=
and |coauthors=
were completed. Your version won't; |vauthors=
doesn't go with |last=
and |first=
and will throw the error "More than one of author-name-list parameters specified" if they are completed. Peter coxhead (talk) 11:55, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

For example, this edit. I've seen you do this before: why do you feel that it is necessary to make such changes? --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 18:55, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
"fix citations"
When you "fix citations", please check them all to make sure you have actually fixed them and not broken them. In Special:Diff/796756568 you did break one, the Barnes reference. The reason is that, while the {{citation}} template allows both |title=
and |work=
(the way it was before), or both |chapter=
and |title=
(the way it is now), it does not allow both |chapter=
and |work=
(the way you left it). Instead, it ignores the chapter parameter and replaces it with an error message. I have fixed it again, but please be more careful. —David Eppstein (talk) 21:52, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

- I did not inspect all of your script's edits; there were too many. I am sure that your script made more errors than we detected. It would be a show of good faith and understanding for you to review all of the unattended edits and revert any that we have identified as errors. Just trying to make things as accurate as possible and looking nice but still in the very early stages of editing the page. Thanks for the encouragement and offer of a helping hand. I am sure I will be in touch with questions. I hope you have a great day!
Thank you so much,

Citation edits becoming disruptive
Many editors have been posting on your talk page recently, trying to help you improve your editing of citations. You have not heeded our advice. At some point, these editors will lose their patience with your intransigence and you will end up with warnings and possibly a block. Let's work to avoid that unfortunate outcome.
Examples of recent edits (made in the last few hours) that occurred after it was explained to you that such edits are harmful, useless, or are introducing errors:
- Invalid date (harmful)
- OCLC= changed to oclc= (useless)
- ISBN= changed to isbn= (useless)
- invalid author format (error)
- removed access-date instead of adding URL (helpful information removed)
- URL present, but access-date removed
I'm not asking you to be perfect. I also make mistakes. I am simply asking you to avoid making the same mistakes repeatedly, after they have been pointed out to you.
Please stop editing citations until you have adjusted your scripts and your previewing behavior to avoid making the types of edits listed above. Thanks, and you are welcome to ask for any help that you need. Many of us are experienced at editing citation templates, which can be tricky, and are happy to help. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:47, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- In example 2 above, you also added
|id={{ASIN|0210312149|country=uk}}
to a citation - first, there is a special parameter for the ASIN, it is|asin=
; second, when an ASIN is purely numeric, and is either 10 or 13 digits long, it is in fact an ISBN - and the citation already had|isbn=978-0210312148
, so your addition was entirely redundant. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:38, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
Pinging Quinton Feldberg: You have made 67 "fix citations" edits since I posted the note above asking you to stop doing so until you fix your scripts and previewing behavior. During that time, you have continued to make errors: incorrect capitalization, broken URL, useless ISBN= to isbn= change (many of these), useless ISSN= to issn= change, invalid author, coauthors= to vauthors=, incorrectly changing hyphen to dash in page numbers, removed access-date with URL present, and introduction of a date error, not to mention the ASIN conversions noted by RedRose64 above.
That is much too high of an error rate, at least 25% in just 67 edits. Please stop editing citations until you have fixed your script and your previewing behavior. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:29, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- I have to strongly endorse Jonesey95's comments, and those made here by others. I'm forced to check every time I see you supposedly "fixing" a citation in an article on my watchlist, and far too many of those "fixes" have been wrong. Peter coxhead (talk) 01:10, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- Pinging @Peter coxhead, Redrose64, Headbomb, Amortias, and Mathieu ottawa: as people who have tried to help Quinton Feldberg understand that he is making mistakes. He has made 130+ "fix citations" edits since I posted the second request above. Many of them are, as before erroneous, useless, or both. What is our recourse here? I am not an admin and would like an evaluation from an admin of what sort of reaction is appropriate for this disruptive editing. Am I overreacting? Thanks for any feedback. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:47, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- This section regarding bot like editing may be of interest to you Quinton Feldberg. If your rate of editing is high enough and inaccurate enough you should stop doing so until you can fix the underlying issue. If a bot was carrying out the tasks your script was with that high an error rate it would likely be blocked to prevent it from continuously disrupting and/or have approval for the task removed. Amortias (T)(C) 11:01, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- I haven't the experience to contribute meaningfully to a discussion on policy/procedure/practice, sorry. --Mathieu ottawa (talk) 12:24, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

- Again, please stop breaking citations. You're not fixing them in the first place. See also [1] and [2]. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 12:51, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Amortias: As it turns out, there exists a bot, Citation bot (talk · contribs), whose purpose is to fix citations. And has made a number of similar errors. Quinton Feldberg (talk) 22:56, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
- As far as I know, "Citation bot" doesn't actually run in bot mode anymore. I believe that it edits only when activated on a per-article basis by individual editors, who click a link or tool to run it on that article. I just ran it myself on Rupert Vansittart. Unless the bot is truly running unattended, which I'm pretty sure it has not done in years, editors are still responsible for the edits they make, even if "Citation bot" is credited with the edit. – Jonesey95 (talk) 03:09, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
- Might not be automatic, but the errors are still 100% real. Quinton Feldberg (talk) 03:56, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
- Many of these are known bugs that have been fixed in sandbox code by volunteers, but we have been unable to get the new code uploaded for a long time now. The long-time maintainer is no longer active regularly on WP. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:27, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Serious question
Hey Quinton Feldberg, I left you lots of messages, but maybe you don't look at old ones, so I will say this again: How was it vandalism that I did on "The Lorax" and "Jeopardy!"? Also, and I said this before, are you male or female because I want to have a better picture of you in my mind. Also, what's your race and skin color? No offense!--Gibberish eaters (talk) 12:47, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
- I thought I already answered all of those questions. Quinton Feldberg (talk) 13:42, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Gibberish eaters: your edits to The Lorax (film)
and Jeopardy!were NOT vandalism and have been restored. As you can probably guess from my username, I am male. Do you know of any women named Quinton? Why do you need to know my "race and skin color", and aren't they the same thing? Quinton Feldberg (talk) 16:28, 27 August 2017 (UTC) - Actually, your edit to Jeopardy! was vandalism and was re-reverted by another editor. Quinton Feldberg (talk) 00:57, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
LTA
Hello. I notice you archived Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Wikidesctruction as inactive. This caught my eye because I blocked this vandal only yesterday, and in fact the preceding diff shows someone listing the IP they were using, yesterday. LTA of course needs to be tidied up occasionally, but I wanted to let you know that this is an advanced topic and things are not always what they seem, and even if the page hasn't been updated recently it is always worth checking with regular editors to the page. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:19, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Restored Quinton Feldberg (talk) 21:22, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. Restoration is something I can do myself. Comprehension of the issues involved is the thing that needs to be done. I see this page lists a lifespan of 2008-2010, and I AGF that that's the thing you used. There's no way you could known about the block I placed, but a quick glance at the page history, and indeed the page itself would show recent activity. Even cases which might not appear active - WP:LTA/MG for example - have been recently active. That's why I say it's an advanced topic and usually requires various checks. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:37, 29 August 2017 (UTC)

The same IP address reverted two comments I left on two separate talkpages, which you thankfully restored. Could this be a coincidence, or am I being harassed?Zigzig20s (talk) 07:50, 30 August 2017 (UTC)

- Hey, I ran into you a couple of days ago, with those IPs in the 54 range vandalizing the joint. I appreciate your help--I suppose you figured out, just like I did, how their editing pattern could be identified. Anywayz, I was looking at Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board, which had been attacked by one of those IPs, and I saw that you had reverted them a few times but you also reinstated their addition, like here. I don't know why you did that, maybe it was an accidental rollback in the flurry, but it contained a pretty serious BLP violation, or at least it looks like it did, and I just wanted you to know that. Thanks again, and take care, Drmies (talk) 14:47, 31 August 2017 (UTC)

Question
Hi User:Quinton Feldberg, basically, in the TV version of The Walking Dead the character Jesus (The Walking Dead) has the last name "Rovia", but is played by a white British actor (the character is American, maybe from Washington). I just wondered where the character is meant to be from? He is obviously white, but which ancestry? If you can't answer, do you know which Wikipedians can please? Thanks. --Theo Mandela (talk) 05:40, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

Hey Quinton,
Hope you’re doing well.
I came across your user page doing some research as I noticed you edited Meek Mill’s page recently.
I am working on a blog about Wikipedia and wanted to see if this is something you’d be open to getting involved with. It is a blog that will talk about best practices on Wikipedia, put the spotlight on Wikipedians, etc. If you’re interested, feel free to email me back: cmcreator900gmail.com and we can discuss further. Looking forward to it.
I also have some opportunities for paid editing (in accordance with guidelines, of course) that I wanted to discuss. Let me know.

Shuga
@Quinton Feldberg: Hi Quinton, I hope you are well.
I have just noticed that the editing work that i have done on the Shuga wikipedia page has all been reverted.
I have provided citations and LINKS to all of the changes I made as well as information as to why each change was made.
Can you please inform me as to what I did that was wrong please so that I can avoid making similar mistakes in the future? If you are able to revert the page to the changes I have made that would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks and looking forward to hearing from you soon.
