Hello! Please note that things that can be objectively and unambiguously directly verified in the plot, such as open romantic relationships between characters or the explicit crush of one character on another, do not require sources as easily verifiable. On the other hand, when something doesn't exist in direct canon and mostly exists as an interpretation in the media, such as reading an androgynous character as genderqueer, that can be seen as part of a media reaction or an authoritatively described audience reaction. So, Tsubaki's queer sexuality or Kokoa and Hayatte's relationship is open and obvious so don't require sources. On the other hand, the suggestion that Aoi has some kind of gender discomfort or dysphoria is a reading and cannot be described as a confirmed fact. At the same time, you can create a section "evaluation, reaction", etc., where, according to the rules of Wikipedia, based on this source, describe how such elements or potential elements were met by journalists. A couple of months ago Anime Feminism was discussed as a source and we came to the conclusion that the source deserves attention for evaluating content from a feminist or left-liberal perspective. - I'm sorry to have caused any confusion! I didn't mean to imply anything about Aoi's gender identity with my addition, and I won't add unnecessary sources like this again. Your comment was super clear about what the problem was and helpful for resolving it / preventing more issues like this, thank you so much! QuietCicada (talk) 18:32, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- No problem, you don't needed be so official. On the contrary, I was afraid to seem homophobic :) I moved the information and the source to a separate section, then you can somehow expand the text or reformulate it, I did not read the original article, so I could miss some ideas. Feel free to describe any part of their article, just be sure to write a formality like "according to the author" or "according to the publication". It was already a mess last time when people disagreed with me that Tsubaki's crush is pretty obvious and even directly commented on by other characters like Hiiro. Solaire the knight (talk) 18:39, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- That's awesome, thank you! (Not the Tsubaki argument, I'm sorry you had to deal with that.) QuietCicada (talk) 18:48, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- I tried to describe it as concisely as possible, but meaningfully. Feel free to expand on this as I missed something. Yes, the Tsubaki controversy was pretty sweltering, but I myself am often like that when I think people are speculating. But apparently this is an expected part of the Internet discussions. Hello, and thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia! However, you should know that it is not a good idea to remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Amiibo. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. –DMartin 08:29, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
Invitation
- Hello QuietCicada, we need experienced volunteers.
- New Page Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles. We could use a few extra hands on deck if you think you can help.
- Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; Wikipedia needs experienced users to perform this task and there are precious few with the appropriate skills. Even a couple reviews a day can make a huge difference.
- Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision (if it looks daunting, don't worry, it basically boils down to checking CSD, notability, and title). If this looks like something that you can do, please consider joining us.
- If you would like to join the project and help out, please see the granting conditions. You can apply for the user-right HERE.
- If you have questions, please feel free to drop a message at the reviewer's discussion board.
- Cheers, and hope to see you around.

Dear Cicada
I assume you are a moderator, since you are actively helping.
You may have seen I reverted some of my own edits.
In case you are wondering. The revision I carried out at 18:59 on February 7, 2024, reversed the changes I had previously made on January 20 and 21 + October 22 and 24, 2023.
The revision I made 13:09, 8 February 2024 also included an edit from January 20. Thank you so much for respecting the revision.
The edits are all done carefully, and only my edits have been changed.
Have a great day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Empathy Heart (talk • contribs)
- Hi, Empathy Heart! To be honest, I wasn't looking too closely at any of your revisions, as I trusted you could sort it out yourself. I'm not an administrator - you can check someone's WP:USERPAGE to see if they are one. Be sure to sign your talk page posts by typing ~~~~ at the end. QuietCicada chirp 15:39, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
