Copyright violations
[edit]I've listed two of your articles (Gum karaya and John dollar) on the copyright problems page. Please respect Wikipedia's copyright policy in your future edits. —Mar·ka·ci:2005-02-8 03:53 Z

[edit]Keesies user page has been done and no one seems to putting up a consistent vndl to AIV - any reason? I would have thought enough is enough? SatuSuro 01:51, 29 January 2007 (UTC) I absolutely loved the signature - where does it come from/what is it/how can I get one? Oh I'll watch the user page for a while - another hour or so - if it happens I'll AIV it...SatuSuro 02:00, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Your signature
[edit]This should be taken in the most friendly and polite of ways. Your signature of ?? doesn't give any indication of what your account name is. Looking at The Guideline it seems that your custom signature obscures your real account name and might be considered disruptive. When I was looking at some of your comments I almost missed the signature completely. It's "common practice" (which really means do whatever you want) to have your signature at least in some way look like your account name. Take this or leave it but I thought you might run into some others that have a harsher view of this. -- Mufka (user) (talk) (contribs) 14:14, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Maintenance tags
[edit]Generally, maintenance tags are posted quickly. Sometimes people intend to return to an article, but sometimes they don't, so the tags categorize them and ensure they don't "fall to the bottom" and never get edited again. Nothing against you at all! Seraphimblade 05:09, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi. Just to say you reverted back to a version which was itself vandalized. It's sorted now. Gardener of Geda | Message Me.... 17:31, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Hugh Laurie2.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Hugh Laurie2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 16:55, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Darryl Cox
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Darryl Cox, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Darryl Cox. Wisdom89 (T / C) 00:31, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Luke Johnson Phone Experiment
[edit]I have nominated Luke Johnson Phone Experiment, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Luke Johnson Phone Experiment. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Jmlk17 04:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
New Minotaur Visual Art
[edit]Does one (an artist) have to have previous fame to be added as a visual source of Minotaur related art? Josh DiRisio has taken my request to create a Minotaur and he has beautifully defined the commissioned work. It is now a registered mark with the government for verification, and yet still original art. Does an author, persay, using Dante's version for a book cover sleeve make this artwork become promotional...because it is. There is no upside advantage here, only kudos to an artist by his commissioner and maybe the platform for more creativity. Please advise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sirjamltd (talk • contribs) 17:36, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello Qaddosh. Your RfA, although still fresh, might not be going the way you might have thought it would. I'm here to suggest you withdraw it. If you do this, and notify me on my talk page, I can close it. But it is extremely likely to be closed per snow, like so many have done so before. Best regards. SynergeticMaggot (talk) 19:02, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Not a problem, just let me know if you are willing to withdraw (unless you'd like someone else to do it, then you would just
strike outyour acceptance and specify that you'd like to withdraw on your RfA). The only reason I dropped this message off is to help avoid a prolonged,pile-on of oppose votes. Mine ended in a similar fashion, and when I see an RfA that isn't going so well, I'll ask the nominee if someone hasn't already. You appear to be a great contributor and I hope this doesn't prevent you from further editing the pedia. :) Remember, we are volunteers! SynergeticMaggot (talk) 20:08, 16 May 2008 (UTC)- Again, no problem at all. But I didn't close it per snow, but as withdrawn (withdrawing looks better in my opinion). You've made the right decision in my opinon. Take all the time you need. Hopefully you come back feeling refreshed and ready to work/edit. :) SynergeticMaggot (talk) 20:23, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- By the way. The moral supports are there as to not make it appear that oppose votes are there to attack the candidate. Also I'd like to inform you that its not recommended that you make comments inside a closed discussion. Best regards. SynergeticMaggot (talk) 20:26, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

on possible deletion of http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Kviar
[edit]Galonga (talk) 18:28, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
this is my 1 cent contribution to the possible deletion of http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Kviar
problem is the company is brazilian, and therefore not known by the administrators (understandably)
however, some of the sources cited (FOLHA DE SÂO PAULO for example) are VERY known newspapers in Brazil
that means that the company DOES have notability
I´d suggest just editing maybe some parts like "At the end of 2007 the company opened its first physical store and started a franchise system", which is kinda pointless
well, there you go: hope it was useful :)
Rollback permission
[edit]Hi Qaddosh, I know you've been making good use of the Twinkle scripts, but just in case you do decide to use it, I've enabled the Rollback feature for you. Hopefully you'll get adminship soon anyway! Owen× ☎ 15:06, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Margie Profet missing
[edit]The source is her family. They have hired private detectives to find her. With little trail, they have given up and now have a Jane Doe alert at morgues for anyone matching her description. It would be good to have the missing line in her biography as it might help find her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.221.216.201 (talk) 02:53, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
RfA co-nom
[edit]Hi Qaddosh - Last spring when you asked me about adminship I said I had wanted to wait a bit... User:GlassCobra has offered to nominate me, and I've decided to accept, so if you wanted to write a co-nom in the next few days or so, let one of us know. (It's probably best if these go on pre-transclusion.) I see that you're not active every day, so it's cool if you don't see this in time or if you don't feel like writing one. Just letting you know about it as you had expressed some interest about it in the past. Thanks. AlexiusHoratius 21:57, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Richard Jordan.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Richard Jordan.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 10:57, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
