The PlayStation is a home video game console developed and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released in Japan on 3 December 1994, and most of the world in 1995. Sony began developing it after a failed venture with Nintendo to create a CD-ROM add-on in the early 1990s. The console was primarily designed by Ken Kutaragi and his team in Japan, while additional development was outsourced in the United Kingdom. An emphasis on 3D polygon graphics was placed at the forefront of the console's design. The PlayStation signalled Sony's rise to power in the video game industry. It received acclaim and sold strongly; in less than a decade, it became the first computer entertainment platform to ship more than 100 million units. Its use of compact discs heralded the game industry's transition from cartridges. The PlayStation's success led to a line of successors, beginning with the PlayStation 2 in 2000. (Full article...)
False positive. Edits are not vandalism. There's some unsourced content added and grammar errors, but nothing worse than that. --Ahecht (TALK PAGE) 16:44, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
@Skywatcher68 I'm inclined to say this is stale as they haven't edited for ~18 hours but do you have any documentation of this vandal so that we can consider blocks/filters/protections etc? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:50, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
That range is too large to block, and it looks like they only use an IP for an hour or so at a time. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:27, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
There's also a fair amount of ~constructive editing on those ranges. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:29, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
Not asking for a rangeblock, just presenting evidence as requested by @HJ Mitchell. –Skywatcher68 (talk) 15:41, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
Not a blatant violation of the username policy, but it's worth keeping an eye on their edits. Not sure what the point of their edits are, but the username doesn't seem to represent any specific organisation or webpage other than some trivial social media accounts. -- Euryalus (talk) 04:41, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
