Request reason:
Wikipedia says I've been blocked due to an open proxy block covering this range: 173.236.128.0/17. I'm not using an open proxy so it seems likely I was "caught in the net" so to speak.
Decline reason:
See below. -- zzuuzz (talk) 13:49, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

- Hello. You may indeed have been caught in the net, however you should be able to edit if you disable your proxy. This range is blocked to both open proxies and other proxies, such as this one, due to the proportion of abusive edits from all sorts of proxies on the range. It is also blocked at the request of the network owner.[1]. It won't be unblocked, so I've taken the liberty of declining your request. You can request someone else looks at it if you like, by putting another unblock request up. -- zzuuzz (talk) 13:49, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
Would it make a difference if the network owner removed their request for the subrange in question? Pyrachi (talk) 22:34, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- I doubt it, since most of the edits from this range (apart from unblock requests) have been vandalism or otherwise unconstructive. Is there a good reason why you need to edit via a proxy? JamesBWatson (talk) 17:22, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
