A tag has been placed on James doan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --Zvn (talk) 20:04, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at James doan

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with James doan. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 20:07, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Movie

[edit]

I think it would have a greater chance of being deleted because it has no sources, not because it's coming out.  fetchcomms 21:28, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:27, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Shahbaz muhammad sayed requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Salih (talk) 13:30, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Shahbaz muhammad sayed, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Abecedare (talk) 13:37, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading multiple copyrighted images

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images, however, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically File:Akshay-kumar-2009-1-8-3-33-44.jpg, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. Please note that we take very seriously our criteria on non-free image uploads and users who repeatedly upload or misuse non-free images may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Abecedare (talk) 13:46, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The following images:

  1. File:Rahuldev.jpg
  2. File:Banknewmovie.jpg
  3. File:1672 main.jpg
  4. File:Akshay-kumar-2009-1-8-3-33-44.jpg
  5. File:DE DANA DAN WALLPAPER02.jpg

were all copyrighted and have been deleted. Please read WP:IMAGES, WP:UPI, and WP:NFC for the related policies and guidelines. If you upload any more images with improper source or licensing status or information you will be blocked from editing. I highly recommend that you consider getting a mentor, since despite your good intentions you have made several errors regarding AFDs, inappropriate page creations and image copyright violations. You can request for adoption by an experienced wikipedia editor by adding {{subst:dated adoptme}} to your userpage. Abecedare (talk) 13:58, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am New User On wiki Please Help me to create a new article! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pyaara Dil (talkcontribs) 14:35, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I realize that you are a new user, and are enthusiastic to contribute new articles to the encyclopedia. But since you are as yet unfamiliar with many of our core policies and practices, I recommended above that you get a mentor who you can then consult for help and guidance. That will work better than using the {{helpme}} template etc. If this interests you, simply add {{subst:adopt me}} to your userpage and some experienced editor will approach you in a day or so. In the meantime, as a minor, you should be careful that you don't reveal personal information about yourself on wikipedia, or anywhere else on the open internet. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 14:43, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, before creating any more articles, you should read WP:FIRST, especially the parts regarding gathering references, checking if the subject is notable, and starting articles in userspace. That will allow you time to develop articles to wikipedia standards, and help prevent them from getting deleted. Abecedare (talk) 14:50, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

This image [1], which you uploaded at File:Godtussigreathowallpaper.jpg is not a movie poster and has been deleted as a copyright violation. Also you need to add a detailed fair use rationale for File:AmitabhPaanewlook.jpg, else it will be deleted from wikipedia. This is your last warning; if you upload any more images with incomplete or incorrect source and/or licensing information I will block you from editing. Abecedare (talk) 16:03, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

i need help uploading image i dont know where to upload image and how! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pyaara Dil (talkcontribs) 16:10, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See the policies and guidelines linked above, namely WP:IMAGES, WP:UPI and WP:IUP. If you need help understanding those pages, get a mentor as I suggested before. Violating copyright law and wikipedia image use policies, despite multiple warnings, is not an option even if the errors are in good faith - and if you continue, your editing privileges will be revoked. So take this issue and these warnings seriously. Abecedare (talk) 16:17, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Kurbaanfilm.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Kurbaanfilm.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. The article Terrorism (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Suspected hoax. No sources that I could find; most of the article is text from the 9/11 article and rest of it looks like falsification.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Zvn (talk) 21:02, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Bollywood.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Bollywood.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:16, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
