[edit]Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Marine Engineering and Research Institute have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 09:35, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
They are not not promotional . I have edited with correct information. Purushim08 (talk) 15:32, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Marine Engineering and Research Institute. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. [edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Marine engineering, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. You also added links to two educational institutions in India at the top of the list. Don't add promotional material in inappropriate places. RexxS (talk) 01:06, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
I also see you've taken no notice of Doug Weller's warning about adding promotional content. When you write "best institute for the training of Marine Engineers and Polyvalent Officers", you are making promotional claims unsupported by reliable secondary sources. That is unacceptable on Wikipedia, and I'm going to give you a final warning to avoid WP:PEACOCK wording. Please read that linked page and make sure that you understand it. If you continue to introduce unsupported promotion to Wikipedia, you will lose your privilege to edit here. --RexxS (talk) 01:18, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
