Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Parmar—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 11:43, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Parmar. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Materialscientist (talk) 11:52, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Pawar/Bhoyar, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. iMahesh (talk) 06:56, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Pawar/Bhoyar. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. iMahesh (talk) 06:58, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Parmar. Info you have added to the article, was already reverted and undid by User:FutureFlowsLoveYou. Please provide a proper explanation on its talk page or summary before adding back the same info. -- iMahesh (talk) 07:21, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Parmar. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. The content you are attempting to add to the article cites another Wikipedia article as a reference. Wikipedia is not considered a reliable resource. Please only add content if you have references. I've made efforts to find suitable references, but unfortunately, I couldn't locate any. The content you are trying to include has been reverted three times, twice by me and once by another user. If you proceed with this edit, it may necessitate initiating a discussion at the Administrators' Notice Board (WP:ANI). To prevent this and establish a consensus, I recommend raising your query on the article's talk page. This will allow us to discuss the available resources and avoid the use of original research on Wikipedia. It's important to note that your talk page has already received six warnings from three different users, highlighting the significance of adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines and policies.. -- iMahesh (talk) 08:58, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Dan arndt, Eyesnore, Taking Out The Trash, and Materialscientist: Also see their recent edit to it.[1] They don't seem to have found this talk page either so they might not know why their attempts have been declined or reverted. Doug Weller talk 16:54, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Pawar/Bhoyar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. iMahesh (talk) 06:02, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit summary that says "added content" deleted content, ie you misrepresented your edit

[edit]

Special:Diff/1176370890 Edit summaries like this one can get you blocked. Doug Weller talk 09:59, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your most recent editing of the article Pawar/Bhoyar

[edit]

Concerning this edit, in which you partially reverted editing of mine:

  1. I find it difficult to see how you can regard cutting a word from its place and moving it to another point in the sentence as a "typo", as you said in the edit summary. Please take note of the message above from Doug Weller; if you continue to give edit summaries which misrepresent what your edits are doing then you are likely to be blocked from editing by an administrator.
  2. Whether you really thought that my edit was a "typo" or not I can assure you that it wasn't; it was a completely intentional change. Anyone unused to Indian proper names (i.e. the vast majority of readers of English Wikipedia) might think that "the emperor of Ujjain Vikramaditya" refers to the emperor of an empire called "Ujjain Vikramaditya", whereas "Vikramaditya the emperor of Ujjain" is completely unambiguous: it has to mean a person named "Vikramaditya" who was emperor of an empire called "Ujjain". If you disagree, and believe that you know of good reasons for preferring the version you have posted and then reverted to, then please explain those reasons, so we can consider which to settle for.
  3. English usage is that punctuation marks, apart from opening brackets and quotation marks, don't have spaces before them. You originally placed a space between "Ujjain" and the following comma, which I removed, and which you then replaced. In the same edit you also added a space between "folklore" and the following comma. There are many other cases of your making mistakes relating to punctuation. I shall remove those spaces again, and I strongly recommend not changing punctuation in articles, as you evidently don't have sufficient knowledge of how punctuation works in English to be able to do so correctly. JBW (talk) 16:35, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Since I posted the above message you have made 41 edits, including 10 to the article in question, but you have not indicated disagreement with the reasoning I gave, nor even made any response. I therefore assume that you have objection to it, so I have restored my change. JBW (talk) 19:45, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bhoyar moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Bhoyar. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources, it needs more sources to establish notability and it has too many problems of language or grammar. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ibjaja055 (talk) 22:55, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ibjaja055 Basically this is a copy of this article up for deletion Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pawar/Bhoyar which is what this editor was trying to change Paramara dynasty if you look at their edits there. Doug Weller talk 16:06, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Weller Thank you for the notification. I can see that the editor has been blocked. He even received six warnings on his talk page without taking heed. I think he is probably a distruptive editor or issue of competency. Ibjaja055 (talk) 18:28, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
