A tag has been placed on The Arrivals, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Steve (Stephen) talk 08:47, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New English Soul

[edit]

You'll need to provide reliable sources that document this is an emerging form of music. Otherwise, the article is subject to deletion. -- Merope 09:19, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a link http://76design.com/shiftcontrol/index.php/2007/02/15/new-soul-new-rb-and-the-brit-awards/ It explains that there is a new emergence of English Soul-hence New English Soul. Please consider this a reliable source.

Sorry, but a blog generally doesn't count as a reliable source --Steve (Stephen) talk 22:30, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on How do i create a new page requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

This article is not tagged for speedy deletion, so please stop adding the {{hangon}} tag. It is inappropriate. --ZimZalaBim talk 00:10, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Biosphere Expeditions. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Don't add the hangon tag again or you risk being blocked. --ZimZalaBim talk 00:17, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop a moment. The article is tagged with the {{advertisement}} tag. Within that tag is an instruction to editors that if an article happens to be blatant advertising, then consider using the {{db-spam}} tag. However, that tag is not being used on that article. As such, please heed my numerous warnings and stop adding the {{hangon}} tag. --ZimZalaBim talk 00:20, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
