User talk:BiosphereExpeditions
This is not meant to be a promotional piece about Biosphere Expeditions. It is meant as a starting point for people to edit and change as they see fit and add relevancy. There are many similar articles about similar organisations on Wikipedia (e.g. Earthwatch, Coral Cay Conservation, Global Vision International , so I felt that a piece about Biosphere Expeditions is justified. Happy editing!

Thank you for making me aware of this rule. Actually, I would like to delete my account altogether as I am frankly fed up with being lectured upon every time I show signs of activity. I have an interest in wildlife conservation and citizen science and sometimes make contributions on these topics, which includes mentioning the non-profit I head up (Biosphere Expeditions). More often than not this is interpreted as commercial activity of some sort and results in a lecture or some other unkind actions such as deletions or blocks without the courtesy of asking first. I understand that it is important to protect the integrity of Wikipedia and I certainly appreciate all the volunteer hours that go into creating and maintaing this great resource. However, my experience of the editor community has been akin to a police state where you are guilty until proven innocent. I am not skilled in internet matters (I am not even sure how to delete my account) and I contribute rarely, but have now been put off, because it seems that as soon as I do something the Wikipedia GESTAPO jumps into its presumptuous action.

The file File:Matthias Hammer.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
I am not sure how to delete my account entirely. Can an administrator do this please and e-mail confirmation to info@biosphere-expeditions.org please. Thanks!
