Your submission at Articles for creation
I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Otto Plath. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.
Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, or website etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.
Here's an example of how to add references:
He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>
== References ==
{{reflist}}
That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.
Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat channel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

Otto Plath
When I first tagged it, it had no categories at all (although since his birth date was given in the article, AWB automatically added the birth year category, which is why I swapped the tag to "morecats" instead of "uncat"). Since you've added additional categories, the tag can come off and you don't actually need my permission to do so — it just wouldn't be able to be removed if the birth year category were still the only one there. I've removed the tag and added one additional category, however. Hope that clarifies things. Bearcat (talk) 18:13, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

You can't do that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.2.142.50 (talk) 07:19, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- 1.Please specify to what you are referring to instead of writing an abrupt and vague (due to lack of context) message on my talk page
- 2.If by saying “No You can’t do that,” you are referring to the edit I made on List of Blue's Clues episodes a few days ago, then I would be happy to have an intelligent discussion about why I made that edit

Otto Plath images
In order to use any image as public domian you must establish its age using a reliable source. The image you point to is circa 1930 as seen with a similar image referenced with this RS [1]. In order to be PD it must have been published before January 1, 1923 or have not been renewed within its 28TH year (if published before January 1, 1964). If you find an image of Plath prior to 1923, you have to demonstarte it with a reliable source.
Best to upload an image using "Fair use". Please review Wikipedia:Non-free content, Wikipedia:Image use policy and when you are ready you can use Wikipedia:Uploading images as a guide to how to upload imgaes to Wikipedia.--Amadscientist (talk) 02:01, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Beckel is listed separately from the VFW, American Legion, and media center sources now so it is not necessary to recategorize everything. Also I doubt that his disgust is the most notable.—Ryulong (琉竜) 02:31, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

History of Breakfast
Hi, I just wanted to make you aware of some ongoing developments because of your involvements with the WikiProject Breakfast. I am a student at Cornell University, given the responsibility of improving a grade C article for a class assignment. My group has chosen the History of breakfast because we see many opportunities for improvement. Part of our grade is our ability to interact with other editors who share an interest in the improving of the page. I would greatly appreciate any feedback you have over the course of the next couple weeks. We have written out a proposal for our edits on its talk page. Also, if you know of other editors who may have an interest in our help, I'd love to know their names too. Nicole.cooprider (talk) 18:38, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Nicole, welcome to Wikipedia! I would love to help you out however I can. I'll try to give you some feedback, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me! --Philpill691 (talk) 20:54, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
- I am planning to begin uploading some of the research and changes I've been making starting tomorrow. Do you recommend doing it a sentence at a time and making sure each sentence is cited? Or doing it a chunk at a time and then going back and citing it? I don't know how quickly people will revert changes and such, so I want to find an efficient way of doing it. If you ever notice anything and want to offer us feedback during the process, we'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for offering to help answer my questions! Nicole.cooprider (talk) 01:31, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
- I imagine most people who regularly check in on the article are already aware of your assignment, so it probably doesn't matter that much. That being said, it probably would be best to make sure anything you add/change is cited prior to you hitting the save button. I don’t know how experienced you are with the editing interface here, so how much you add at a time really depends on how comfortable you are with editing. Does that answer your question? And do you have any others? Happy editing! --Philpill691 (talk) 02:17, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
