Speedy deletion nomination of File:TR1 shunting tractor of 1924.jpg

Image uploads

I'm sorry but the permission given by the library isn't sufficient enough for Wikipedia purposes. The conditions actually state "You can search, browse, print and download items from this website for research and personal study. You are welcome to reproduce the above image(s) on your blog or another website, but please maintain the integrity of the image (i.e. don't crop, recolour or overprint it), reproduce the image's caption information and link back to here (link removed). If you would like to use the above image(s) in a different way (e.g. in a print publication), or use the transcription or translation, permission must be obtained."[1] To meet the needs of Wikipedia:Image use policy as a free licence on Wikipedia the licence must allow commercial re-use, in any medium (print or web), and allow modification. Hi again, there might be some light. The terms quoted above from the image description page do not match the general terms of use of the National Library so it could be that the images are pubic domain. Confirmation is being sought from the library. Nthep (talk) 11:26, 26 June 2017 (UTC)

References needed

Hello. At Rail transport in New Zealand, you've made a number of rapid changes and I'm concerned that you will make more. The problem is that you've made statements that lack references. You seem very knowledgeable about rail infrastructure and management of KiwiRail, but all statements that appear as facts must be supported by references. Please stop making changes and add references to the statements you've made. If you're unwilling to provide them, or can't, I'm afraid your changes will have to be reverted. On examining closely what you've done, I see that you've mostly moved paragraphs and content around. I was perhaps harsh in suggesting that you need to provide references, but the speed at which you were making changes made it difficult to see whether you were adding or simply moving. Hi. Yes, the lack of references is a problem and it was difficult to tell what you were doing. On another matter, please be sure to observe the following:

• all punctuation (commas, fullstops, etc) before the reference, not after
• no space before the ref. The ref always comes immediately after the last character

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license.
