Thanks
[edit]I remember a useful grammar correction you made to 1886 eruption of Mount Tarawera before it got good article status that worked its way through to current version. I have tried to leave unchanged as much as possible of your recent input into the article Reykjanes but apologise given the work you put in that I felt some had to change to minimise confusion around the geographical and volcanic systems name. Reykjanes as a name is very contextual, changing with time, and this has challenged many others including me. If you were unaware, the recent events are covered mainly in in the articles 2023–2024 Sundhnúkur eruptions, Sundhnúkur , and Eldvörp–Svartsengi. I understand much the same challenged wikipedia editors with the eruption of Fagradalsfjall in 2021 and that took 18 months to settle down but I kept out of that spat. Some suspect the Reykjanes volcanic system as currently defined could well erupt soon so the Reykjanes article may become more important. ChaseKiwi (talk) 17:42, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
