Se Cathedral

[edit]

Hello Peroxwhy2gen,

I request you to kindly stop adding editing the name Se Cathedral.. the spelling in Portuguese is Sé Catedral, but that is not the name commonly used. Se Cathedral is a name and it is not compulsory for a name to mean anything. Please discuss the matter on the article's talk page if you wish. I have given an explanation there.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Goan cuisine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sanna (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Perox, I thought it would be a little more appropriate to just answer your question on your talk page. As for the question, it is stated here that "If there are two separate championships played over the course of one season (for example, in many Latin American countries with their Apertura/Clausura system) OR the season is decided by a knock-out tournament after the conclusion of the regular season (e.g. Major League Soccer, Australian A-League), the word "season" should be attached to the title."

That page is a bit outdated however but there are also several current examples like 2013 Major League Soccer season or 2012–13 Liga MX season or 2012–13 Argentine Primera División season. And as you know the Goa Pro League is no different. It has all the teams play each other and then it splits into two sections. And that is why I included the word "season" at the end. I hope I have made this easy for you to understand. If you have more questions then please do not be afraid to ask on my talk page. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 18:00, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I am not as familiar with the Goa Pro League as I would like. Thank you for the clarification. Peroxwhy2gen Talk 00:43, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dadra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Dadra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Dadra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, you may be blocked from editing.
This is not my original research as you say in your edit summary. I have merely added an unreferenced tag to the history section. You could discuss on the talk page; don't you think this is a better option than simply removing the content? Do you think we should delete the entire article as it has no references? Regards, Peroxwhy2gen Talk 05:13, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please take a look at WP:RS and WP:NPOV before edit warring. Unsourced personal opinion can be removed at any time. I'm willing to work with you to update the article, so let bygones be bygones and let's start with a new slate. So can you please tell me why you are adding "Dadrá" and "DNH part" to the name. Is that an official designation? Without any reliable sources for all I know it could even be a hoax. Thanks looking forward for your co-operation. --Neelkamala (talk) 05:36, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am restoring "Dadrá" because Portuguese is a historical language used in Dadra, and so is relevant. I have actually removed the "DNH" part; please see this. Thanks, Peroxwhy2gen Talk 05:40, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Can you prove your claim with a reliable source please, see WP:RS on how to add a reliable source. As far as i can check Portuguese is not a spoken language today in Dadra. Gujarati is the native tongue and administrate language. So its totally wrong to add some portuguese word in there. --Neelkamala (talk) 05:54, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Portuguese was historically spoken hence it has been added as "other name" not native name. I have also restored the history section with an unreferenced tag to the article. Thanks, Peroxwhy2gen Talk 06:01, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
While I'm here helping you correctly edit the wiki, you go ahead and make the same original research edits again. I suggest you revert your edits and dont get into an editwar or else i may have to report you for edit waring. --Neelkamala (talk) 06:07, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please see WP:PRESERVE and WP:ATD. I have added one reference to the history section now; it is always better to improve that delete content. Feel free to report me if you so choose but please remember to discuss and use tags such as Template:Unreferenced, Template:Unreferenced section, Template:Refimprove and Template:Citation needed next time you feel the need to remove content. The Victim (2012 film)

[edit]

Please stop editing The Victim (2012 film) page category. It is a Konkani Cinema and you may read the reference links. The film was released at Inox digitally via Reliance Media Works (Scrabble) also screened at UFO Cinema. Iwritingoes (talk) 14:57, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said in my edit summary, it already is in Category:Konkani-language films, which itself is in Category:Konkani cinema. Please see WP:SUBCAT. Thanks, Peroxwhy2gen Talk 15:06, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Peroxwhy2gen. I was wondering why you reverted this edit that I made to the aforementioned article. The article is already in Category:Christianity in Goa, so does not need to be in Category:Goa. The categorization of the article should also reflect that this archdiocese includes Daman in its territory. Nocowardsoulismine (talk) 11:37, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
