I-Santorini moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, I-Santorini, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks for elaborating
Sorry if I came across as harsh earlier. Just a bit fed up with the overall nomination process, nothing personal. If I understand your actually heavy followup, "something dramatic" to you would look like the Capitol Hill riot. Presuming I'm right, which aspect of that was the most dramatic in your estimation: the forced entry into a restricted/sacrosanct area, the "Hang Mike Pence" slogan, the mock gallows, the horned berserker, the police brawl, Ashli Babbitt's shooting, Brian Sicknick's stroke, the delay in formal election certification, Donald Trump's involvement or something else?
To answer your questions, I think the use of heavy and mid-sized trucks in zones not preapproved for government-tolerated protest sets this apart from other brief and common afternoon pickets against the COVID rules. More like the Indian farmer blockades than typical antimask rabble. That these cost the opposition a billion or more dollars, triggered a broader emergency than the virus itself, received support from many in the police, military and foreign audience, resulted in Ottawa's top cop bailing , featured hot tubs and were exceptionally physically peaceful also helps. Did they "threaten democracy" in Canada? Hard for me to say, depends what that phrase means to you.
Anyway, keep healthy and stay strong, however you choose to help "combat the pandemic". It ain't easy, we can probably agree. Cheers to clear honest communication? InedibleHulk (talk) 00:56, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Apologies for my comments earlier, it got pretty heated. You have no need to apologize to me. You have solid points, but I think I have counter-points to reflect how you believe. It's fine. Since the discussion has ended, I think we shall move on. Since the protests are almost over (they have reached a consensus and have decided to start dismantle their own blockades), I think the entire protest is going to be over within a day or two. Still, you have your own grounds, I have my own. It's nothing personal. Again, have a nice day, and I would hope we would work more to make Wikipedia a better place. Cheers, PenangLion (talk) 03:27, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- That's the thing, though, I was born with the need to apologize. It's not just a gimmick up here, brother, many of us are the reason the real Canadian stereotype exists at all. I'm also hardwired to politely decline your gracious offer of forgiveness and counter that you have "no worries, bud!" You Chinese Malaysians, meaning no disrespect, just have your own ways, and I'm sure each Chinese Malaysian has his or her own take on what that cultural collective spirit even is. Are you going to watch the good old hockey game from Beijing today? Have you ever watched (ice) hockey? If anything's liable to spark a right bloody row during this stalled border movement, it's the result of a big final horn, win or lose! I forget if we posted the 2011 Vancouver Stanley Cup riot or not. In any case, all good, heat is only human. We'll agree on something else down the road, I'm sure, whatever the theme. Au revoir! InedibleHulk (talk) 03:57, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- P.S. Tonight's edition of The National (our most mainstream news show) featured a fully vaccinated Chinese-Canadian marching alongside the likely truckstop beardos with a Gadsden flag, not against some perceived creep of British colonial forces but this notion that Canada might become the New Russia. The scope is indeed unclear. In other news, a woman called Sarah Nurse is the new all-time single-tournament Olympic point-scorer, I'd honk quietly once in support of that frontline worker, eh? InedibleHulk (talk) 04:34, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Interesting. Thanks for sharing the fact. PenangLion (talk) 04:37, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Update: She scored again while I was typing that! Canada rules, 2-0. Forgot how time zones work. InedibleHulk (talk) 04:44, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Rather than wear out my welcome with unsolicited goal alerts, I'll just leave this magic newspaper on your desk, and casually fly out of the window, whistling... InedibleHulk (talk) 05:06, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

Apologies about the image on the Ukraine crisis
Sorry I removed your image, it wasn't intentional, I was working on grammar in the same section and the software must have fought I was trying to go back to an earlier version of the article.--Llewee (talk) 15:59, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

Pls read
this carefully: Sequence of tenses#English and desist from making ungrammatical edits.Axxxion (talk) 12:41, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
- Also, your penchant for making ginormous quotes from media texts inserted in refs is usually uncalled for. Such quotes only make sense when the source contains a lengthy text and it is time-consuming to find an appropriate place therein. Do not use long dot lines for elisions in quotes: in English such omissions are usually denoted by "[...]" (just three dots).Axxxion (talk) 13:14, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, Axxxion. I checked on the additions, and I followed what the source came. I can confirm the grammar is mostly correct, thank you for the advices on references but I don't think simply chopping everything would make real sense. If it's from multiple outlets then please help add more references instead of putting 2, and claim its multiple. I'm still working on it, so please, give more time. PenangLion (talk) 13:42, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
- And, again, if it does not belong to the section, then move to the appropriate section rather than deleting everything and forcing everyone to rewrite it again. PenangLion (talk) 14:01, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
