My request for bureaucratship
Dear PeaceNT, thank you for taking part in my RfB. As you may know, it was not passed by bureaucrats.
I would, however, like to thank you for taking the time to voice your support, despite concerns cited by the opposition. Although RfA/B isn't really about a person, but more about the community, I was deeply touched and honoured by the outpouring of support and interest in the discussion. I can only hope that you don't feel your opinion was not considered enough - bureaucrats have to give everyone's thoughts weight.
I also hope that the results of this RfB lead to some change in the way we approach RfBs, and some thought about whether long-entrenched standards are a good thing in our growing and increasingly heterogenous community.
I was a little miserable after the results came out, so I'm going to spread the love via dancing hippos. As you do. :)
I remain eager to serve you as an administrator and as an editor. If at any point you see something problematic in my actions, please do not hesitate to call me out. ~ Riana ⁂ 13:47, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Anarchopedia deleted content request
Hi PeaceNT,
In http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2008_February_24 you wrote about the Anarchopedia Deletion review "Deletion endorsed; will provide deleted content if requested"... well, I will try to make a draft of it in my user space, as it is adviced in the discussion. Thus, could you provide me the deleted content, or tell me how to obtain it?
Cheers
Samer.hc (talk) 21:11, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank-you
Hi PeaceNT! Thank-you for your comments in my RfA and the support you offered :-).

I've just selected this for DYK, but felt the hook didn't give much sense of the article, so I've added a description of the film sourced from the article, so that the hook now runs:
"...that A Walk to Beautiful, a film about five Ethiopian women with childbirth injuries, was picked by the International Documentary Association as the best feature documentary of 2007?"
Hope this is ok? Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 00:45, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
An article which you started, or significantly expanded, A Walk to Beautiful, was selected for DYK!
Thanks for your contributions! Nishkid (talk) 04:23, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Operation Homecoming- Writing the Wartime Experience cover.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Operation Homecoming- Writing the Wartime Experience cover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:08, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A.W. Bulldog (wrestler)
You closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A.W. Bulldog (wrestler), but there is also a redirect lurking at http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/A.w._bulldog. Can you also delete that, save the creator of the deleted article recreating it at the redirect page. Cheers. Darrenhusted (talk) 14:49, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

I deleted a speedy you declined earlier
Hi PeaceNT,
Hope I haven't just stepped on your toes. Cheeser1 replaced a speedy tag you removed from User:QueenAdelaide/List of Boratisms. Normally that should be the end of it, and another AfD required, but in this case I think he's right about the interpretation of CSD G4, so I've gone ahead and deleted it. If you disagree, DRV isn't necessary, feel free to recreate without consulting me, I won't mind. But the article has been userfied for 3 months now with no improvement; it was pretty obviously being used as a storage place for deleted content, not a place to improve the article. --barneca (talk) 23:58, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Lady Aleena's RfA
PeaceNT...Thank you for supporting my nomination for adminship. Through it I have become aware of a great many people who can help me in my future editing endeavors. Even though I was not promoted, your support shows that I still have something to contribute to Wikipedia, even if it is minor edits to fix spelling and grammar to working in WikiProjects to help others make great articles. If you wish to further discuss the nomination, please use its talk page. Stop by my talk page anytime, even if it is just to say hello. Have a wonderful day! - LA @ 04:33, 30 April 2008 (UTC) |
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Betrothed25.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Betrothed25.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:09, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
