A barnstar for you!

I wanted to thank you for your copyediting on Washington State Ferries! I noticed that you do a lot of copyediting of boats in general, so I just wanted to recognize that. Happy editing! Something But Nothing (talk) 15:06, 24 October 2022 (UTC) |
- @Something But Nothing Thank you for the barnstar. I strive to make Washington State Ferries a good article at some point. TeaZilla (talk) 15:12, 24 October 2022 (UTC)

Danny (pt. 2)
[edit]Continuing from Help talk:Buying Wikipedia. We'll post anything we find here. TeaZilla Fancy a cup? 19:13, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds like a plan! I'll be researching. OverUnder (talk) 19:13, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- I was searching around the archives of Wikipedia and all I found were a group of users in Wikiproject American Cinema joking about the death of a character named Danny in Rabbit Hole. The joke doesn't seem to extend beyond Wikipedia. Could that be what they're referring to? OverUnder (talk) 01:04, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- I actually looked outside of Wikipedia. I couldn't find any notable burger-flipper named Danny, let alone anyone who fits that criteria and also died. I guess it's just an obscure reference to a 2010 film. TeaZilla Fancy a cup? 01:06 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- It's a joke. They treat the purchasing of Wikipedia very seriously, but when someone asks a question about a fake person, they can make a joke back without consequence. Why do you care so much? Prep Greif Blur (PGB) 01:06, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah but why would "WP:DANNY" redirect to Help:Buying Wikipedia/How to meet Jerry if he was a made up person? It has to mean Danny actually was the previous expert burger flipper before Jerry but was replaced for some reason. OverUnder (talk) 01:08, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- I don't know, maybe they took the joke too far? Made a fake redirect? Prep Greif Blur (PGB) 01:09, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- That doesn't explain why Section 348 B-27a of Wikipedia Policies and Guidelines feels the need to specifically mention Danny in its FAQ. TeaZilla Fancy a cup? 01:09 31 March 2023 (UTC)
