Arms and the pub
As I recall, the Halsall Arms was originally the Scarisbrick Arms and only became the Halsall Arms for a relatively short period before it closed (and there was a bit of a battle getting the landlord out of the place, I think). The Scarisbrick Arms at Downholland was the Scarisbrick Arms too, which was confusing. My neighbour (who used to live in Halsall) confirms this. Unfortunately, she isn't a reliable independent source as far as Wikipedia is concerned (although I wouldn't say that to her face...). I remember supping my first pint in there (illegally) as it was far enough from home that I wouldn't be seen or known there. I'm not an RS for this either, but http://www.metaldetectingagency.co.uk/history-of-where-i-come-from.html (not by me, I hasten to add) confirms this (not in the quoted from Wikipedia section, but quite a lot further down the page). Perhaps both names should be in the article. Peridon (talk) 21:11, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of places in Lancashire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Holmes. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wiki Loves Pride 2016
As a participant of WikiProject LGBT studies, you are invited to participate in the third annual Wiki Loves Pride campaign, which runs through the month of June. The purpose of the campaign is to create and improve content related to LGBT culture and history. How can you help?
- Create or improve LGBT-related Wikipedia pages and showcase the results of your work here
- Document local LGBT culture and history by taking pictures at pride events and uploading your images to Wikimedia Commons
- Contribute to an LGBT-related task force at another Wikimedia project (Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, etc.)
Looking for topics? The Tasks page, which you are welcome to update, offers some ideas and wanted articles.
This campaign is supported by the Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group, an officially recognized affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation. The group's mission is to develop LGBT-related content across all Wikimedia projects, in all languages. Visit the affiliate's page at Meta-Wiki for more information, or follow Wikimedia LGBT+ on Facebook. Remember, Wiki Loves Pride is about creating and improving LGBT-related content at Wikimedia projects, and content should have a neutral point of view. One does not need to identify as LGBT or any other gender or sexual minority to participate. This campaign is about adding accurate, reliable information to Wikipedia, plain and simple, and all are welcome! If you have any questions, please leave a message on the campaign's talk page.
Thanks, and happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:24, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

Vincent & Theo
Thanks for your assessment of Vincent & Theo. You note in the checklist that the article's coverage and accuracy need to be improved. At your convenience, I'd appreciate your suggestions for those improvements. Thanks, Easchiff (talk) 10:22, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Easchiff: I've left a mini review on the article talk page, I hope you find my comments useful. Regards. PC78 (talk) 17:20, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! As time permits, I'll expand the lede and plot description. There isn't much to work with on casting, release, etc.; commercially, this was a minor film. Placing the film in the context of Altman's and other careers is certainly optional in Wikipedia articles, and isn't envisioned in the template for film articles. That could be the subject of a longer and more general discussion. Best, Easchiff (talk) 11:09, 31 July 2016 (UTC)

Your request has been completed. If satisfied please place a resolve tag on your request entry here, so we may close it. - FOX 52 (talk) 19:56, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
Good day, there's a bit of a backlog on this page, which you have been involved in. (Admittedly, partly because of my submissions). If we can handle these on a first come, first served basis, if you can pretty please take a look at the first few I've submitted I'd be happy to take the next submitted by others off your plate. I think I'm getting some idea of how you're looking at them. Ribbet32 (talk) 18:26, 29 October 2016 (UTC)

Your inactive bot(s)
Hello PC78. We currently show that you are the operator on file for at least one bot
account that appears to be inactive. Please see the discussion and list of bots here: Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard#Inactive bots over 5 years. If you are no longer operating your bot, no action is required - your bot will be marked as retired and have the bot flag removed. Should your bot be retired and you wish to revive it in the future, please request bot authorization at WP:BRFA. If you are still in control of your bot (including knowing its hopefully strong password) and wish to maintain the bot flag, please sign the table on the linked discussion. Thank you, — xaosflux Talk 14:40, 26 November 2016 (UTC)
