Notability - WP:NALBUM is not an excuse to bypass other notability guidelines and delete en mass
You should not be aggressively deleting good faith edits and articles based on first impressions. Take due care to follow the WP:GOODFAITH and WP:NEXIST guidelines. Then when an article seems to fail the notability guidelines, follow WP:FAILN to first give the benefit of the doubt. Thank you. AusChartMan (talk) 17:32, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Reason for deletion of Time Will Tell (Hebe Tien album) Wikipedia page
May I kindly seek your clarification on the purpose of deleting the Wikipedia page on Time Will Tell (Hebe Tien album)? The Wikipedia page was curated with hours of effort from various parties including myself. At the very least a proper reason to justify the deletion should be provided. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moiboy (talk • contribs) 09:54, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- Moiboy, first, the article wasn't deleted, it was redirected. Second, the reason was given in the edit summary. It doesn't pass WP:NALBUM, which says in those cases, the album title should be redirected to the artist. The current sourcing includes two advertisements, an instagram pos (non-reliable), are all about a different album of hers (Nobody Knows). At first, I thought it might be a simple case of the computer translating the title differently, but none of the tracks appear to match. Even if they were about this album, the current sourcing doesn't come close to establishing notability. Onel5969 TT me 11:57, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
History of AEK Athens F.C. deletion
I want this redirect to be deleted so to move the page back to it's original space, as it is wrongfully removed. Can you help me do this (by deleting the redirect)? Thank you! BEN917 (talk) 14:55, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- BEN917, hi ... yes I could, but you can do it yourself. You need to go through the RfD process (redirects for discussion), or in this case, or requesting a speedy deletion through G6, and explain that you want to move the existing page there. I am hesitant to do it myself, since I'm not sure what the correct title of the article should be. Whether or not Athens should be included in the name seems ambiguous, even in the parent article. Onel5969 TT me 13:01, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- Onel5969 That was helpful too, thanks!! But how can I do that? And to asnwer to your last sentence there are many clubs (see AEK), mainly in Greece called AEK, thats why the offical name of the club which the article is referred is AEK Athens F.C.! BEN917 (talk) 16:05, 3 November 2020 (UTC)

Nancy Salzman
Hi, please complete more research into the NXIVM case before nominating this article for deletion. Salzman may have gotten off with limited sentencing but she was central in developing the cult. I suggest you read the deposition by the U.S. District Court.[1] Salzman's lack of medical expertise in conducting psychotherapy is another element that deserves more exposure. Under Wikipedia:Notability (Perpatrators) "#2 The motivation for the crime or the execution of the crime is unusual—or has otherwise been considered noteworthy—such that it is a well-documented historic event. Generally, historic significance is indicated by sustained coverage of the event in reliable secondary sources which persists beyond contemporaneous news coverage and devotes significant attention to the individual's role.", Salzman would qualify due to historical documentation of her involvement in the development of the cult as well as the medical malpracice ESP hypnosis sessions.[2] This is has been documented by a number of podcasts and documentaries, and most recently The Vow. — Scott218 (talk) 17:02, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

El Sebou: suggestion to remove the article from mainspace
Hi - can you please be specific about what you think needs to be done to improve the proposed article on El Sebou to meet standards? The article is in development as part of a student project in a class, and yes, the student very much wants to improve the article to come up to standards. thanks, Reel315 (talk) 16:27, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
- Reel315, Hi. First, when asking a question on a user's talk page, it is always helpful to put in a link to the article you're talking about, like this: El Sebou' : Egyptian Birth Ritual. While it wasn't a problem to track it down in this case, it can be probelmatic. Now regarding your query. The two notability guidelines are WP:GNG or WP:NFILM. In a nutshell, to meet GNG, you need several in-depth articles about the subject, and they have to come from independent sources. Currently, there are zero of these in the article. All are promo pieces about the film. Most folks use newspapers and periodicals to come up with sources, sometimes books. I did a cursory search and found very little about the documentary. Doesn't mean the sourcing isn't out there. the WP:NFILM is what is known as a SN, or specialty notability criteria. That list is very specific and can be found at the link. Hope this helps. But remember that not everything is notable. It helps to familiarize yourself with the notability guidelines, and that can help to decide what to write about. Hi -- re El Sebou' : Egyptian Birth Ritual --as you might guess, I'm a newbie also at this, and I did not know about the links part in communications -- so I appreciate the heads-up. (Now to learn how to put a link into ; but am glad to know. Thanks for your quick response. I shall underscore the necessity of getting notable sources into the articles before the students try to go to the mainspace. The students are responsible to locate and use good notable sources appropriately. That's part of the assignment. I appreciate also that you took a look for possible sources - yes, they are hard to find. But yes, there are several sources that should meet the notability requirement (the film was vetted prior to the assignment). I will check out the specialty notability criteria and revisit the notability guidelines. Thanks again for your prompt reply. Reel315 (talk) 18:42, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

Bludgeoning accusation
Hi One5969—I'd kindly request that you strike your accusation of WP:Bludgeoning. AfDs are meant to be a discussion, and while it would be inappropriate to, well, bludgeon the process, there is nothing untoward about civilly, concisely, and non-repetitively responding to arguments that have been raised. Accusing others of bludgeoning within that context actively harms discussion by seeking to turn the page into a straight vote at the expense of healthy engagement with policy-based arguments. Michael Gruenbaum - how to improve this page to move it out of drafts
Hello
I am new at creating wikipedia pages, and just submitted one entitled "Michael Gruenbaum", which was sent by you back to draft, because apparently there aren't enough sources. The page I submitted included links to the New York Times Book Review about his memoirs, a recent interview about his career with the Institute of Transportation Engineers (the premier organization for this field worldwide), a wikipedia page including notable survivors from Mr. Gruenbaum's camp with a mention of his name, and reviews from numerous other well-known publications. Can you help me to figure out what more I should include? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Placscrib (talk) 22:51, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- Placscrib, hi. First, very nice job on the article, well-written and structured. The issue is that there are 2 whole sections unreferenced. If you simply provide references for those, it's good to go, Keep up the good work. Onel5969 TT me 22:59, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
ok great! Thanks for speedy reply Placscrib (talk) 23:05, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
Quick question: I do have references I could list for those two sections you mentioned, but they are for a published (printed) book, which as far as I know is not online yet. Would that be sufficient, or does it have to be an online reference? Placscrib (talk) 23:16, 12 November 2020 (UTC) Placscrib (talk) 23:16, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- Placscrib, absolutely. There is no requirement for refs to be online. However, offline refs do require specific stuff to be included. You can find out what at WP:CITE, and specifically for books at WP:CITEHOW. Formatting the refs can be found at WP:CIT. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 23:48, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
I strongly disagree with your draftifying of the above. Whatever happened to cn tags on content you feel needs to be proven? I've seen literally hundreds of articles where the sole reference (not footnotes, just a general 'you'll find it in here' vague pointer) is some textbook which can't be verified online. This article has footnotes for Web content, general reading and links to wikis on the guy in multiple languages, so I'm struggling to see what you find so suspicious about the content that it needs removed from mainspace without an attempt to engage with the author/other involved editors or to flag up the issues on the page first. Crowsus (talk) 02:24, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

- Lucy456, hi. First, my apologies for not giving a fuller explanation in the edit summary. I usually do. That being said, Murgh was spot on in their assessment on their talk page as to why I restored the revert. If you wish to work on creating a page, might I suggest I move the redirect into draftspace, where you can work on developing the article. Learning the entire MOS (Manual of Style) can be daunting, so you can learn from looking at the structure of other winery articles. The Sutter Home Winery is a nice little article, and wouldn't be a bad place to start. But since this is about the parent company, an article like KEO (company) might be better. Remember that an article must be written without a point of view WP:NPOV, and that any assertion you include in the article should be backed up by a valid reference. References should be from independent sources where possible, but sometimes when writing about a company, the only source for certain information will be the company's website. That's okay to use for validation purposes. I'll be more than happy to help you as you go along, and give advice when you ask for it. Hope this helps, and if you want, I'll move that to draft for you. Onel5969 TT me 20:10, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Delhi dialect
Hi Onel5966! Look at this: Hindavi dialect. This page was created only a few minutes after you had reverted Delhi dialect back to a redirect. Looks like a slightly modified clone of the earlier version, and also of Old Hindi. –Austronesier (talk) 12:08, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Austronesier, hmmm... interesting. It's not an exact dupe, but very similar. Seems like that editor is trying to push a viewpoint. This isn't an area where I have a great deal of expertise, am pinging Uanfala, who knows more about these topics. The reverting to the redirect was an easy call, since the term was used on the target of a long-standing article. This article appears to make the claim that this is a different variant, and doesn't mention Kauravi at all. Without knowledge of the other article and redirect, it would be difficult not to mark this new article as reviewed. However, without access to the underlying sources it is difficult to ascertain whether this truly is a different dialect, or simply a different name for the same dialect. Onel5969 TT me 12:21, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I don't know much about the history of the language. From what I see, there should, in principle, exist the possibility for separate articles about Kauravi (the broad regional dialect of the rural hinterland), and the earlier stage of the literary language that started developing in the city, but I'm not sure it makes sense to subdivide the coverage of the latter into tinier subtopics based mostly on what appear like differences in nomenclature. – Uanfala (talk) 12:51, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

How is it that the CEO one of the largest grocery chains in Canada is not notable?--Brett (talk) 15:07, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Brett, being accomplished is not the same as being notable. Especially when that accomplishment is handed to someone from their parents. In that stub article, there was no indication of notability. To show notability you need several references showing in-depth sourcing of the subject, from independent, reliable sources. The Financial Post article is nice, if you come up with 2-3 more like that, that would show notability. Onel5969 TT me 17:29, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
Western Subanon language
Hi, These are different language varieties that are grouped under "Subanon." It is even the subject of an upcoming dissertation: [2] --WikiEditor50 (talk) 12:36, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

- (talk page stalker) I would imagine that generally, it's better if detailed content about a given language is provided in that language's dedicated article, rather than in an article about the bigger language group. Maybe Austronesier will have an opinion on whether Western Subanon language should be a separate article from Subanon language? – Uanfala (talk) 17:28, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Uanfala: I agree, detailed content like sound inventories of a specific language should not appear in the article about the higher-order grouping, but in the article for the language itself. However, a stub like Western Subanon language should have better sources than a dead link. I have added an archive link to the reference now, and more material for W. Subanon is available in this article in Oceanic Linguistics, so WikiEditor50 could re-execute the split with more info. Also, the "mother" page Subanon language should not simply be depleted of its content, but get some more information pertaining to the complete macro-language/micro-group; e.g. the Oceanic Linguistics article has a reconstruction of Proto-Subanen phonemes; more info could be taken from Jason Lobel's dissertation. –Austronesier (talk) 18:09, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

- Cwmhiraeth, hi. I'm of the view that an editor who evades the rules, especially major rules, should have very few tools. Especially not reviewer or autopatrolled. The most egregious offenses to me are sockpuppetry, copyvio issues, and UPE. That being said, folks make mistakes. I saw the discussion you had on their talk page (which was going to be my first suggestion), but I don't think it shows a proper understanding of Copyvio. Hell, many times I'm not sure, but I try to err on the side of caution, without overwhelming folks like you who do the grunt work of actually doing the revdel. I'd be more concerned if they had autopatrolled rights. I've reviewed several of their articles, and this is the first one I can remember which had a copyvio, so I don't think it's a problem at the moment. Their logs don't appear to show any activity as a reviewer or patroller, but their apparent lack of understanding of copyvio would be an issue if they decided to start actually reviewing/patrolling. I don't think removing the patrol rights would do any harm, and might be a good precautionary measure. Onel5969 TT me 12:05, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
Theme of Bulgaria and Byzantine Bulgaria
Hi Onel5969, that are two separate entities. The theme of Bulgaria was a single Byzantine province, while Byzantine Bulgaria encompassed parts from different provinces. It would be better to keep two separate topics. Regards. Jingiby (talk) 16:30, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
- Jingiby, hi. There's nothing in the Byzantine article to suggest it has anything to do with more than that contained in the Theme article. If there is sourced information showing that the Byzantine designation is more than the current Theme than that should be added, and a specific delineation pointed out. Without that, they are simply duplicate articles. Onel5969 TT me 18:24, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

- @Jingiby: I can only judge based on the comparative content of the two articles, and the current overlap is well beyond what we would normally consider acceptable. If these are related but separate concepts, then that needs to be reflected by related but separate article contents - not 75% duplication. That's what summaries and wikilinks are for. If you, as someone with subject knowledge, could apply this trimming, it would certainly be appreciated. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 23:49, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
- There's certainly nothing in either article (prior to merging) to indicate the differences detailed above. Also there is nothing in History of Bulgaria about this difference, in fact the section Byzantine rule (1018–1185), has a map File:Byzantine Macedonia 1045CE.svg showing "Bulgaria" as a much smaller area than the current country. To confuse things further, one of the maps on Bulgaria (theme), File:Byzantine Empire Themes 1025-en.svg, shows the larger area as "Bulgaria" and the smaller area as "Boulgaria" (with an "o"). Whilst there may be justification for separate articles, this justification needs to be obvious in both articles and also in History of Bulgaria#Byzantine rule (1018–1185). --John B123 (talk) 00:06, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi everybody. The problem is that the province of Bulgaria overlapped only this territory of the Kingdom of Bulgaria, which was finally conquered by Byzantium. Consequently, this province had its own life, while the whole territory of the former Kingdom of Bulgaria included also other Byzantine provinces. They had its own life as for example Macedonia and Paristrion. So there are two options. Either the life of the Bulgarians in these other provinces should be described in the single article about the province called Bulgaria, or the separate article about Byzantine Bulgaria as an imagined entity, encompassing several Byzantine provinces should be left here. Look also at the map above, please. Jingiby (talk) 04:33, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

- Coryphantha, nice job! I've removed the tag. Be aware that if you see a tag and fix the problem, whether or not you created the article, you can remove the tag yourself. Most editors keep watch over pages they have tagged, and if they don't think the problem has been resolved, will re-add the tag and comment. Keep up the good work. Deleted articles
Why did you delete almost all my articles? They were cited if you do your research. They existed not made believe i spent ages researching and compiling then you just deleted them or wiped them with redirects. Really no need to have RailwayJG (talk) 01:57, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- RailwayJG, hi. First, it's always polite to provide links to the articles you're questioning about. Second, the 2 stubs I redirected (not deleted) to their railways had ZERO citations, so not sure what you are talking about. The poorly sourced, and poorly formatted 3 stubs I reviewed are still there. So really no need for you to have left this message. Onel5969 TT me 02:26, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
So if I provide sources for them and they are good enough to pass the citations needed. I can get rid of the redirect? Cheers RailwayJG (talk) 02:29 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Moyles Court School
Hi there, How do I make it Notable? I feel there are many many other pages less notable that this one. There are references to websites aside from the school's own. Thanks in advance for your help, Tim
- Hi Tim. First, it's always polite to leave a wikilink to the article you're talking about when leaving a comment on an editor's talkpage, like this: Moyles Court School. Second, please remember to 'sign' your comments with 4 tildes, like this: ~~~~. That will allow the editor to know who they are communicating with. Now, to show notability you need several sources which go in-depth about the school, as opposed to mere mentions are simple blurbs. These should be from outside sources, not school websites or publications. In addition, they should also include in-depth articles from non-local sources, for example if the article was from a Cardiff or London paper. See WP:GNG and WP:ORG for the entire rundown of guidelines. If you want to work on the article, I can move it into draft for you, and then take a look at it after you've done some work on it, or answer questions for you. Let me know.Onel5969 TT me 23:29, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Onel, thanks - Its been a long time since I edited Wikipedia pages! If you would be able to move the Moyles Court School page into drafts for me, I would appreciate it - thanks. I’ll see what I can find, but it’s tricky as it’s a small school. It’s very old fashioned so doesn’t have a big online presence, but I’m trying to change that! Thanks for all your assistance... Timstickley (talk) 18:22, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Timstickley, had to move it to User:Timstickley/Sandbox Moyles Court School, since you had created a draft prior to this, and that redirect is blocking me moving it there. But this will allow you to work on it. Onel5969 TT me 18:57, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi again Onel! I’ve added a load of content and references to webpages that do not belong to the school. Do you think it could be considered to be notable yet? Thanks, Tim Timstickley (talk) 09:53, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Timstickley, I think it's getting there. Schools, for purposes of notability, fall under WP:NORG, and specificaly, WP:ORGDEPTH. All the independent sourcing is of the local variety. If you notice above, I said that some of the sourcing should be from non-local sourcing. ln one of the articles it mentioned that the school had been ranked in the top 50 by The Sunday Times. Not sure which Sunday Times, but if you could find that, it would help. In my opinion the only thing missing is those two in-depth pieces from non-local sources. Even one would most likely put you over the edge. But you're doing a wonderful job so far. Onel5969 TT me 12:19, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi again onel5959, thanks for all your advice. Do you think it would be considered notable yet? I’ve added some references from non-local sources... if you think it’s ok, would you be able to move it to its own page please? Thanks, Timstickley (talk) 23:22, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
- Timstickley, You're doing very good work on the article. I personally still wouldn't mark it "reviewed", as I still think it needs one or two more in-depth articles from non-local sources. I did a cursory search myself, and didn't see the type of coverage that would put it over the edge myself. However, another reviewer might see it differently. If you would like I'll move it back to the mainspace and put it back into the review queue for another reviewer to take a crack at. Onel5969 TT me 16:15, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

Long time no talk. Was wondering if you could share what you learned about Zanda Zakuza because from the text alone I'm not seeing something to indicate notability. But rather than duplicate work that you'd already done I figured I'd ask. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 22:51, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Barkeep49, yeah, long time. Hope all is well with you. Regarding this article, I felt the True Love article was more than a blurb (although not as in-depth as I'd normally prefer), then you have the 2 News24.com pieces, a year apart. Then you also have the Briefly article. In my mind, that passes GNG. Put another way, I've seen plenty of articles with less survive AfD. Okay? Onel5969 TT me 23:38, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

I actually don't look that much at the text if an article passes GNG (unless the subject interests me), or if there is a copyvio issue. I'm wondering why the Iowa Dogfish page no longer appears? ThatWikiAl (talk) 21:30, 17 November 2020 (UTC)ThatWikiAl
- ThatWikiAl, as a non-professional lacrosse team, it needs to pass WP:GNG, so it was turned into a redirect. Onel5969 TT me 20:35, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- I don't understand why it wouldn't pass the general notability guidelines. The IBLA is the American counterpart to Canada's Major Series Lacrosse and Western Lacrosse Association. They are all leagues that play at the Senior-A (highest) level of semi-professional lacrosse. Teams in both of those other leagues have their own wikipedia pages. And junior hockey along with a whole host of other junior level and senior level sports teams have pages. This team exists, has played one full season, is going to continue operating, and they are notable as the first senior level and only box lacrosse team in the state of Iowa. So what do I need to do to bring this page back? ThatWikiAl (talk) 03:21, 23 November 2020 (UTC)ThatWikiAl

Yorkton Film Festival Golden Sheaf Award - Kathleen Shannon
Hello Onel5969, I see that you reviewed the article Yorkton Film Festival Golden Sheaf Award - Kathleen Shannon - and I appreciate that - however, the link now redirects to the Yorkton Film Festival page. Where did the Yorkton Film Festival Golden Sheaf Award - Kathleen Shannon article go to? Thanks, LorriBrown (talk)
- Hi LorriBrown - in my opinion while the overall award meets notability criteria, the individual awards do not appear to, so I redirected it to the main award article. But I'm just one reviewer, and not at all infallible. My issue with it is that all the sourcing regarding this particular award was local and/or not in-depth enough. If you disagree with my assessment, feel free to revert me. I'll probably take it to AfD, so other editors can have a discussion about it. Other folks may look at it differently than I do. On the other hand, it was a well-written and formatted piece, so keep up the good work. Onel5969 TT me 23:02, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hello again Onel5969. I understand that this particular award only reflects a couple of years worth of awards. I've been systematically working my way through various awards' pages for the Yorkton Film Festival. Originally, I rescued the YFF page from deletion but then decided to create award pages for each of the Golden Sheaf categories, I hadn't attempted this before. I understand that the Kathleen Shannon article does not have many award years or really strong sources. The newer award years are not as strongly supported by newspaper articles as in previous years - not sure why this has not been as strong of priority as in earlier years. This was a personal goal as I was hopeful to give representation to all the filmmakers that won these Golden Sheaf awards. I do believe there may be addition years for this award... but under slightly different titles as well as information on this person was (Kathleen Shannon) and why YFF named an award after them. I've tried to accommodate this with other awards by noting the variations of the name before the title, example. Yorkton Film Festival Golden Sheaf Award - Multicultural; anyway, perhaps this is too much information. I have researched and unfortunately for the more current Golden Sheaf awards it has been difficult to find newspaper articles. If you can revert the article to a draft page - I will try to see if I can find additional years and stronger sources to address your concerns/opinion that the article does not meet the notability requirements for a stand alone page. If you are able to revert the article to a draft, could I request your opinion before attempting to re-post it? Thank you! LorriBrown (talk) P.S. Thank you also for your kind words... :-)
- Hi LorriBrown - moved to draft, and of course you can ask for help while you work on it. Onel5969 TT me 15:41, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Hello Onel5969, I believe the article is improved now. Hopefully I've addressed the concerns you had with the previous version. I do need the name changed to the Yorkton Film Festival - The Kathleen Shannon Award. Would you be able to explain how I can do that and would you mind taking a look and the improvements? Thank you! Best, LorriBrown (talk)

Hello, this is about the page Aayush Sharma, which you've nominated for speedy deletion. I approved the article from AfC, because the reason for deletion no longer applies. Given that I approved the AfC, I thought it would be inappropriate for me to take the tag down myself, but I have written a message on the talk page contesting the deletion. Would you have a look, please? Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 16:43, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Kohlrabi Pickle, hi. Still doesn't qualify for WP:NACTOR. Onel5969 TT me 17:22, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Even if that is true, the process for removal is an AfD where a discussion can be had, not a speedy delete. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 17:34, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- A discussion was already had, that's why WP:G4 exists. Praxidicae (talk) 17:37, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Praxidicae, WP:G4 expressly excludes pages to which the reason for the deletion no longer applies, like this one. The article failed the last deletion discussion because the subject had not been in any productions and therefore had no hope of passing the specific notability guideline for actors. He has now been in two productions. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 17:52, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- So, in your powers as AFC reviewer, how is it different from the previously deleted version? Praxidicae (talk) 17:55, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Praxidicae, I am happy to explain my judgment, but that is a separate matter from whether the G4 tag is appropriate. We can talk about it on the article's talk page or on mine. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 18:01, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Hello! Hope this message finds you well! Thank you for contributing to my page's content Victor P. Tsilonis. I really appreciate it! I am a user with several editing contributions but this is my first attempt to create a page. I realised that you have added two labels on my page, one related to additional citations for verification and another related to bare URL links. Upon reading the relevant guidelines, I must say I feel a little bit confused as to which parts of the page those labels refer to. I would much welcome your insights on this issue! If you could provide me with a few examples as well it would be rather helpful. In any case, I will make some improvements based on your remarks! I would like to thank you in advance for your time considering this! Have a lovely day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agnostosnous (talk • contribs) 16:55, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Agnostosnous, hi. First, bare links are links to off-WP pages which are simply bare, or not formatted so as to reduce WP:LINKROT. In this case, it has to do with your footnotes. I corrected most of them, but there is still one, #6, which needs to be formatted properly. You can find out regarding the format at WP:CIT. Second, since this is a BLP (bio of a living person), almost any assertion should be sourced. Right now, sections 2.2, 2.4, 2.5 as well as the early life section are totally unsourced. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 17:26, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- {{u|Onel5969}, Hello again! Thank you very much for your kind response! It is much clearer now! I will work on your guidelines and the particular sections that you mentioned which indeed are unsourced. Please get back to me if more things need to be changed! Thank you very much! Have a nice day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agnostosnous (talk • contribs) 17:42, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Hyainailourus
Hyainailourus needs to be retitled Hyainailouros as that is the spelling used on ZooBank and various scientific papers. -User:1morey November 23, 2010 11:35 AM (EST)
I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
tag from Suesat Paeminburi, which you proposed for deletion. Since this article that I wrote has been nominated for deletion, I'm writing this to plead my case on why the article should not be deleted.
Suesat Paeminburi is one of the best Bantamweights in Muay Thai and has been for a long time, but despite this, due to multiple reasons including the politics of the sport, Suesat has never been given a shot at either the Lumpinee or Rajadamnern Stadium title (since he is a Kiatpetch circuit fighter, he is only eligible for the Thailand (PAT), Channel 7 Stadium and Lumpinee Stadium titles). Nevertheless, Suesat has won the prestigious Grakcu tournament in 2017 and recently won the Channel 7 Stadium title at 118lbs. The Channel 7 title, though not as coveted as a Lumpinee title due to it not having the same level of history behind it, is very respected and much more valuable than a WBC Muay Thai or WMC title.
The reason I bring up the WBC Muay Thai and WMC titles is that, in Notability (sports), it is written: "A kickboxing athlete is presumed notable if they:/ Fought for a world title of a major organization or promotion (K-1, WMC, [...], WBC Muaythai, [...])." Frankly speaking and with all due respect, the criteria for notability in both Kickboxing and Muay Thai are in dire need of an update. The "It's Showtime" promotion has been defunct since 2013 and it is still a part of the list. The RISE Kickboxing title, despite being one of the most coveted titles for under 65kg fighters is not on the list. Major Muay Thai belts like the True4u title, the WMO title, the Channel 7 Stadium title, and the Thailand (PAT) title all deserve a spot on the Muay Thai/Kickboxing Notability criteria. In fact, Muay Thai and Kickboxing should both be in their own category. Aside from both being standup sports, each has its own very distinct ruleset.
Thank you for reading. I hope the moderator who reads this reconsider and take away the deletion notice.. Instead, I have started a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Example, which you may comment on. I have explained my reasons for doing so there. Thanks!

- PhanKS1505, I understand your thoughts, and thanks for the civil response. Might I suggest that you bring up changing the SN guidelines at WP:NMMA? Without that change, it will be difficult to keep this article on WP. Onel5969 TT me 18:00, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
Origins, Vol. 2
Do you think that Origins, Vol. 2 is ready for article space? At this time, it does seem borderline. --Jax 0677 (talk) 23:59, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Okay to just move article?
Hi Onel5969, Would it be okay with you that I just remove the tag and move the draft of Kathleen Shannon Award to an article? Thank you, LorriBrown (talk)
Flowers and cake as my gratitude
Thanks a million Sir/Ma'am for the reviews that you gave for biographical articles Zeeshan Khan and Aparna Mishra. It took a lot of efforts for me to create these two articles, keeping in mind and taking care of every Wikipedia guidelines. Though, these two articles are nominated for deletion and will most likely get deleted, the reviews that you gave for these two articles is the BEST GIFT, that I got for the efforts put into these articles.
Now, I really don't mind if the articles Zeeshan Khan and Aparna Mishra are deleted and gone forever, because you already made me very happy by reviewing them.
Your reviews really means a lot and these flowers and cake are the least I could give in return. Once again, thanks a lot Sir/Madam

Dashes in List of equipment of the British Army
Sorry, but I had to manually revert the page List of equipment of the British Army to an earlier version due to multiple unsourced edits by another user. I was able to include some of your changes, but unfortunately couldn't restore your changes to the dashes. --Edward Sandstig (talk) 17:24, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- Sandstig, no worries. It's a script, so it's very easy to replicate. Thanks for the notice. Onel5969 TT me 17:27, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
Hello,
I’m not sure how to start with your undoing to the material I moved from Bamboo musical instruments to Bamboo flute. You said "uncited," by which I gather you meant unreferenced? That would be fair enough to put a tag on, for I’m not planning to leave it that way. Bamboo flute is a major category of musical instruments, which has been neglected on Wikipedia, just as other non-western instruments made of bamboo, such as raft zither and tube zither. I have begun to adress these and will also address bamboo flute. I an reverting back to my change. Please give me a week to get time to improve it. Thank you Jacqke (talk) 18:47, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- Jacqke, sorry, but familiarize yourself with WP:BURDEN. Uncited material may be removed by anyone at anytime. Once, removed, it should not be re-added without references from independent reliable sources. Onel5969 TT me 18:53, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- Sure, you can. And you could have given me the week I asked for. You did not assume my intention to be good...good faith. Jacqke (talk) 18:57, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- Jacqke, I always AGF. That has nothing to do with this. When you're ready to work on the article, and put valid refs in, then do so. The appropriate place for working on articles in draftspace, not the mainspace. If you would like, I'll move your version into a draft, and then you can submit it through AfC for review? Onel5969 TT me 18:59, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- Never mind. I was cleaning it up from elsewhere and giving it a home. I’ll fixit when In not working. Thank you for the offer.Jacqke (talk) 19:04, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

orphan tags on Negro league articles
Hi Onel5969, I'm confused as to why you tagged 6 articles as orphans: Buck Ridgley, Eugene Redd, Rags Roberts, James D. Robinson (baseball), Herlen Ragland and Elihu Roberts. They are linked to by List of Negro league baseball players (M–R). Can you explain? Thanks, JonP125 (talk) 02:58, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- JonP125, hi, and again, nice job on all these Negro League bios you've been putting up. That's an automatic report generated through the page curation process. Apparently it hadn't updated when I reviewed your articles. Please feel free to remove those tags. Onel5969 TT me 12:37, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Just FYI, rather than the Balkan instrument, the correct target article for an Indian tambura is Tanpura. JG66 (talk) 16:09, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

- JG66, hi thanks for the link. Yeah, when I go through the dabs needing repair I always AGF, and point to the original target. In this case, when that was added to the article (prior to September 2020), the redirect pointed to the Balkan instrument.Onel5969 TT me 16:40, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
