Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Changa (drug)
[edit]The article Changa (drug) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no evidence of notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DGG ( talk ) 08:04, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

Editing tip
[edit]Hi Ollee. Just a tip that punctuation is placed before references, not after. In other words, references follow the full stop or comma etc where it exists. I just noticed you doing it the other way at Inglewood, New Zealand. cheers. Nurg (talk) 11:42, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

I believe your message regarding the Blair Cottrell article (RE: citation in body) is directed to user Bacondrum. They reverted your edits back to my revisions. CremationLily (talk) 01:35, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bridget McKenzie, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Electoral district of Sturt (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:26, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

[edit]I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hello, Ollee
Thank you for creating John E. Kennedy.
User:PopePompus, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
The subject is clearly notable. It's a bit disappointing that none of your references are freely available online. A quick google search turns up lots of articles about him; it might be worth citing some of them as references.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|PopePompus}}

Sure, there's lots of articles about him online... I went with books as a way of establishing notability.
Happy to include some online references, sure.

Speedy deletion nomination of Barbara Minto
[edit]Hello Ollee,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Barbara Minto for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

[edit]Bulk removal of Changa information
[edit]Hey Ollee, you have bulk deleted a 5,000+ section of a carefully constructed contribution concerning MAOIs in Changa. None of the referenced information was of interest to you? I'm happy to work with you to improve citation, where possible. Because it is a drug, much of the information comes from sites that cannot always be referenced but the information is widely accepted as correct - but if not, please discuss with me. For safety, maintaining sections on the dangers of MAOIs is important, as is building the overall understanding of the substance. It would be great if anyone else can help with building these sections too, and additional citation — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doc Shaman (talk • contribs) 03:04, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Doc Shaman, I left a note about this removal on the Talk page for Changa. FWIW, as carefully constructed as your contribution might have been, it was not adequately cited. Furthermore, as important as safety may be, this is not the purpose of Wikipedia.
- Feel free to come back to me with your thoughts on the Talk page.
- I can see that you have valuable knowledge about Changa and hopefully we can work together to improve that page in the spirit of Wikipedia. ollee (talk) 03:35, 11 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Mr.weedle. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Letdown, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mr.weedle (talk) 01:26, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
Hey Mr.weedle — Thanks for your note! Interesting point.
Does it necessarily require a source, I wonder?
The cast, for instance, are listed without reference to where this information was gleaned. Same too for the director and any other roles listed on that page. Is music composition different for any reason?
cheers, ollee (talk) 06:20, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
