Yosef Ben-Jochannan

[edit]

Some comments that I hope will help. First, the text needs to follow the source. 'Considered to be' is from the source, which says "Yosef Ben-Jochannan, a Black Hebrew Israelite, who claims to be Puerto Rican, is considered one of the premier Afrocentric scholars." We can't turn that into 'is'. Secondly, we don't use 'Dr.' in front of people's names. WP:CREDENTIAL says "Academic and professional titles (such as "Doctor" or "Professor") should not be used before (or after) the name in the initial sentence or in other uses of the person's name. Verifiable facts about how the person attained such titles should be included in the article text instead." Third, you tried to say that he had Ethiopian citizenship. You'd need very good sources for that - see WP:RS, especially as his birthplace is contested. Hope this helps. Dougweller (talk) 19:26, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
