Copyright problem icon Your addition to Benard Odoh has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. There is no evidence at his Facebook page that Odoh has released the image under a Creative Commons license. Unless you can prove the license, we may not use the image.C.Fred (talk) 17:40, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in David Lyon (politician, born 1970), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. NNADIGOODLUCK (Talk|Contribs) 14:54, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at David Lyon (politician, born 1970), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. NNADIGOODLUCK (Talk|Contribs) 17:33, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Please refrain from wrting articles in a promotional tone. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a platform to glorify artists. Please read MOS:PUFF and avoid using words and phrases like "great achievements", Nollywood stars", etc. Also do not embolden text; singles and names do not need to be in bold letters. Please read WP:MOS.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 16:29, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The some content you added was copied from another website, and thus was a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy. Please don't add copyright material to Wikipedia. If you do, you risk being blocked from editing.— Diannaa (talk) 15:03, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Appeal Block

[edit]

Hello, My name is Nwafor Andrew on Wikipedia (Not23, Menneth) and I'd like to appeal for my block on Wikipedia, Earlier I was blocked and I didn't know that I could appeal for instead I opened other accounts to continue my edits. I deeply and passionately accept my mistakes in the past and I've improved on the way I ought to edit on Wikipedia. I sincerely plead to the wise administrators to kindly unblock my account and if any vandalism is noticed henceforth I plead to be blocked again. My actions were not out of Choice but out of ignorance. I accept my mistakes I'm good faith and plead to be unblocked. Thank you for your understanding Not23 (talk) 08:42, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
