If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Naqeeb Ahrar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —Tom Morris (talk) 13:11, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:24, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Dajjal (Ahmadiyya View). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Masih ad-Dajjal. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Masih ad-Dajjal - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Persecution of Ahmadis, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please also use proper English when you edit. If you find contributing in good English difficult, consider contributing to the Wikipedia of your mother tongue. I'm afraid I just can't follow what you added here so I reverted it. Can you please explain what the response was?

  • He "said that it was truth of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community" - what was a truth? the fire? What does "being a truth" mean? This isn't in English.
  • "He said that it was recorded that anti-Ahmadiyya sentiment mullahs swore on Kaaba that Allah Almighty we are true and Ahmadis and your curse should on them." - How is this relevant? What does it mean?
  • He "said that it did not came on media because it was sign of truth of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community." What did not "come on media"? What does "coming on media" even mean?
  • "He said no Ahmadi was not hurt." - So all Ahmadis were heart? Every single one of them?

I'm afraid this is just unintelligible. This is supposed to be a response to an event, not a religious lecture. Make it clear what the response was, and bring reliable sources. If you find it hard to contribute in English, there are many other Wikipedias in other languages to which you can freely contribute. --Muhandes (talk) 10:29, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

IMDb

[edit]

Perhaps you are not aware of two things about IMDb. Firstly, it is totally undiscriminating, and accepts entries about virtually anything to do with any film or anyone who has ever had virtually any connection with the film industry, so an IMDb entry is no evidence of significance or notability. Secondly, anyone can edit IMDb, so it is a totally unreliable source. For both these reasons IMDb is of no value whatsoever in establishing notability of the subject of a Wikipedia article. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:39, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Masroor International Cricket Tournament is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Masroor International Cricket Tournament until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. AssociateAffiliate (talk) 13:50, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Editing issues

[edit]

Hello, I have been watching some of your contributions for some time. There are 2 main issues with your editing here on the English Wikipedia. As Muhandes has kindly pointed out you need to follow Wikipedia guidelines (as linked above). Read them carefully and please follow them. It will only help you. They are there for a reason. The other issue is your poor standard of English so much so that sometimes it becomes difficult to make sense of what you are trying to say. We understand that no-one is perfect here, we all have our own weaknesses but if you are going to edit here on the English Wikipedia please please improve your English. Please don't take my comment negatively, I am only trying to help you. Thanks! --Peaceworld 19:47, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Abdullah Ejaz has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

all biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. A tag has been placed on Umer Sharif (Ahmad) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Quiggers1P (talk) 15:58, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Paul the Apostle appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. Cognate247 (talk) 17:24, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

. I try to explain what Dr. Israr Ahmad had said by his own words. Muhandes and muslims don't like the truth to be displayed on Wikipedia

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. TNXMan 15:46, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

A friendly suggestion - read the reason why you were blocked before you continue editing after the block is lifted, and save yourself, and us, a lot of work. Hint: it has nothing to do with Dr. Israr Ahmad. Feel free to ask if you need help. --Muhandes (talk) 17:52, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
