Samba de Amigo: Party Central moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Samba de Amigo: Party Central, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Fujiyoshida/Fujikawaguchiko enclave within an enclave
[edit]Do you have a source for this? I can't find any. --Lasunncty (talk) 05:22, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- for now I've removed the information. The only two maps that I can find with detailed enough boundaries are both different: Google Maps shows it as an enclave within an enclave but OpenStreetMap shows it as an enclave inside a contiguous peace of land. I'll try and find a more definitive source. Nintentoad125 (talk) 10:25, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- I have a definitive answer now. It is not an enclave within an enclave, as shown by this: https://japonyol.net/municipality.html. this matches up with OpenStreetMap so I'm convinced that is the correct boundaries. Nintentoad125 (talk) 10:29, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
Khojaly, Azerbaijan
[edit]Please review Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names)#Disambiguation. In particular "In some cases, the article title should include additional text, such as a country name or province name" and "With the names of cities, towns, villages and other settlements, the tag is normally preceded by a comma". The use of "Name (Town)" is non standard and the move was correct. If Khojaly was the only one it could be moved to that name but it's a redirect to Khojali, a disambiguation page. Your signature
[edit]Hi, your signature, as used here and in other places, includes a transcluded template (specifically, {{flagicon|Ireland}}
) in violation of WP:SIG#NT; that template displays an image, which is itself a violation of WP:SIGIMAGE. Please remove the template, both from your custom signature and also the places where you have used it. Thank you. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 14:42, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there, Julian's birthday was wrong on the biog so I've corrected it as it was being reported on X/Twitter that his birthday was in February. It is definitely 27th March - was with him celebrating the day before.

Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club
[edit]Hi, while I appreciate your edits, as the WIP template notes, it's appreciated to not edit while ongoing major edits are being done to avoid conflicts. If you see something missing, I would be happy if you could discuss it on the talk page so as to prevent edit conflicts. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 14:50, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi thanks for contacting me. It seems we both left messages on each others pages at the same time. Anyway, please consider merging some of the information from the draft to the main page as i believe it to look tidier at the moment because it has existed for much longer. Also, its is generally good practice to check for drafts before creating a new page, as it is annoying to see the hard work from drafts undone. Thanks! I will stop editing that article until the WIP is gone. - 🇮🇪 Signed, Nintentoad125 👻 (Talk to me! 🗣️) 14:57, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, I searched for Draft:Emio - The Smiling Man and did not see anything. Once I'm done with my edits, you can feel free to merge anything you see is missing (figured it'd be easier than to credit you for content I take from your draft). - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 15:07, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- All right, I'm done for now. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 15:54, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll take a look - 🇮🇪 Signed, Nintentoad125 👻 (Talk to me! 🗣️) 18:24, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- I'll be adding ref ideas to the talk page so I'm not just constantly editing this instead of doing other stuff, so be sure to check them out. One source verifies "35 years," though I'm unsure whether to say that since the interview with Sakamoto says "30 years." - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 16:00, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
