Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Nikkivartuli, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Your sandbox

[edit]

Hi. I moved your draft back to your sandbox. When you want to expand an existing article, you need to merge your changes into the existing article as outlined beginning here. You shouldn't create a duplicate article. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:25, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The page you created at University of connecticut has been moved to User:Nikkivartuli/sandbox. Please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/University of connecticut for an explanation why. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 18:26, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The page File:Income Share.png has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appeared to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review — JJMC89(T·C) 04:05, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
