June 2020
[edit]Hello, I'm Andrew nyr. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Lesbian because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Central Business District
[edit]Your attention is called to the addition of this display to the article on the Central Business District, Los Angeles (1880s-1890s). Do you have any feelings, for or against? Discussion should take place on that article's Talk page. Thanks. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 18:01, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]MoMA event
[edit]Hi! I just saw the message you left on a couple people's userpages about the MoMA event later this month. Is it ok to include with the upcoming events for this month's WMNYC WikiWednesday meeting? Thanks. By the way, this link which appears in the message seems to be broken. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 14:00, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Nikitag94. Just following up on this. We heard from someone at MoMA about promoting this, so I went ahead and added it to the list of events per above. Hope that's ok. Maybe at next month's meeting, if you're available, you'd be interested to share how it went? — Rhododendrites talk \\ 17:07, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi @Rhododendrites:! So sorry for the delay on this. Thank you for promoting the event. @Raggachampiongirl:, what do you think? Nikitag94 (talk) 18:36, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hello @Rhododendrites: and @Nikitag94:. It is great to post around and share as many places as possible. I believe that someone from MoMA education was reaching out to WMNYC as well but the more notice the better. Any link issues should be solved by sharing registration page here: https://www.moma.org/calendar/events/7040. Thanks!
Sounds good, all. Next month's WikiWeds on June 16 (7pm). If any of the organizers involved with the MoMA event is available and up for it, we'd love to have you talk about how it went (and about BLT in general, since I think it's been a little while since we've highlighted the great work you're doing and we have a bunch of newer people attending WikiWeds). — Rhododendrites talk \\ 14:56, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi @Nikitag94 and Raggachampiongirl: Just following up on this to see if either of you are available next Wednesday to talk about how this event went (and share any other Wikipedia-related goings-on)? Could be a quick informal share or something more like a presentation if that's of interest. Also pinging Doctorxgc, who will be running this month's WikiWednesday. Hope you can make it! — Rhododendrites talk \\ 00:35, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hey!@Doctorxgc, Nikitag94, and Rhododendrites: Thanks for the invitation. I'll happily come share with folks on Wednesday. The event went well!

BLT photo booths!
[edit]Hello, I love the photo booth idea and am part of a WikiPortraits project that sets up pop-up booths at film and media and science festivals which seems similar :) Are you sending anyone to SXSW this coming March? We will have space for a portrait studio for part of the week.
I just saw there's an amazing Flickr catalog, curious about your workflow and thinking about how to make Commons imports better. – SJ + 13:53, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
