2010–11 Basketball League of Serbia

2010–11 UEFA Champions League group stage

I see them as a solid way to see the home and away results in a small, brief table. Whereas the results below will have more details (goals, ref, venue, cards, etc.) I think it's nice to have the brief snapshot with the standings. :) Captain Courageous (talk) 18:56, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Champions League

Hey, thanks for helping to create the Fixtures of the Groups. :-) Kante4 (talk) 22:05, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Water polo

Hey, i would go for the normal dash –, since this reduces the character number of the page (only a little but a bit). Kante4 (talk) 11:53, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

I know, but since this has been done on many sport related articles we should stick to it and i like it that way better. ;-) Kante4 (talk) 12:02, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

The article Marko Mirić has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The-Pope (talk) 12:38, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Nikola Žigić

Hello. I noticed you'd changed the Red Star appearances figure in Mr Žigić's infobox back to 80. As reprezentacija.rs says 79, I was wondering what source you're using to make it 80? cheers, Struway2 (talk) 11:05, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

2010–11 UEFA Champions League knockout phase

2010–11 UEFA Champions League knockout phase is not a score sheet. When the match has ended, feel free to update the scores. Please do not do so while the match is in-progress. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:57, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Good idea in adding the goals in commented, but it's still better to add them in once the match is finished. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:38, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Euroleague takes place in Asia and Europe

It takes place with Asian clubs, and in Asian territories. So it should either list that it is in both Europe and Asia, or not list it at all. Otherwise, games being played in Israel are being considered games played in Europe. An Israeli club is being considered a European club. So if you don't want it to say Asia, which is factual, you should IMO remove it entirely from the listing so that it does not even say what continent it is on. Because just listing Europe is factually wrong and thus is non-encyclopedic. 173.216.234.214 (talk) 11:39, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Novak Djokovic. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — Legolas (talk2me) 14:31, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

You are continuously removing sourced information from the article, yet failing to provide a source for your edit. This is a clear case of vandalism. I advice you to stop reverting, you are already violating WP:3RR, next revert I will get you blocked. — Legolas (talk2me) 15:27, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Novak Djokovic. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.Legolas (talk2me) 15:30, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

You are expected to discuss this with the users there and come to a consensus on the issue. Before that any reversal will lead you to administrative procedure. You have clearly violated the three-revert policy of Wikipedia. Although I havent reported you, I hope you partake of this chance bestowed upon you and carry on a good discussion with fruitful results. Mind you, I'm keeping a tab on the edits. — Legolas (talk2me) 16:04, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

15. put unosim i menjam. Ako je Nikolic otisao iz Spartka i vratio se u Zvezdu, negde kod njih mora da stoji da je dosao. Hvala i pozdrav. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bora83ns (talkcontribs) 10:24, 21 June 2011 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles, such as the edit you made to Uroš Matić. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. There is no need to sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. International apps/goals, re Nikola Žigić

Hello. I have no problem whatsoever with Mr Žigić having 20 goals from 54 appearances for his country, as indeed clearly stated by the source http://www.reprezentacija.rs/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1655&Itemid=2. However, that source equally clearly states that for the first 13 games and 4 goals, his country was called Srbija i Crna Gora, and for the next 41 appearances/16 goals (and hopefully counting), his country was called Srbija. Perhaps you could explain why you think it's wrong to follow the source? cheers, Struway2 (talk) 21:47, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. I'm aware that Serbia succeeded Serbia-Montenegro succeeded Yugoslavia, and that FIFA/UEFA consider them the same thing, and have no problem with that. But on Mr Žigić's FIFA profile, some matches are listed under the SRB trigramme, and other matches under the SCG trigramme, and if you click on the SCG matches, they involve a country called (in English) Serbia and Montenegro. As I'm clearly in a minority of one, at least among editors interested in that particular article, I'm not going to continue reverting the infobox, but the argument for ignoring the sources is unconvincing. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 08:26, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Ranking in Euro Handball Champ'ship

Hi

Is there an official source for the final ranking in 7-12 places? An anonimous editor has switched HUN and POL between 8th and 9th, presumably because POL has a better record than HUN. Is that right??--Nitsansh (talk) 01:28, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
