Deletion of Net_DNS2 page

[edit]

Hello,

When I built the page, I first confirmed with the owner (Mike Pultz) via email, and he pointed me to this page:

http://netdns2.com/about/

which includes a statement:

"All work on this website is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License."

and links to: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/

Looking at this page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Donating_copyrighted_materials#Granting_us_permission_to_copy_material_already_online

It indicated that having this statement on the site would be sufficient. Is there something more I should have added to the article to indicate this?

Thanks!

Hi, please, read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest before creating the articles. Thank you. Nielsonharris (talk) 15:43, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Nielsonharris for helping.MarkHerson (talk) 16:19, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok- so i'm not clear- was it removed because of copyright violations or conflict of interest?

I'm not related to the project in any way- I've used the library, and it's good, and I noticed that there was no Wikipedia page for it, even though it was referenced on a few other pages- so I asked the project owner if he was ok with me making a page for it, and he agreed, and pointed me to the about page.

I'm not involved in the project, I'm not being paid, I'm not trying to promote it- I'm simply documenting it. I don't see how this is any different than something like GnuTLS or Node.js. What am I missing?

Inquiry to the article Rüdiger Marmulla

[edit]

Dear NilsonHarris, I have provided the missing citations (the biographical data are a quotation of the Marquis' Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare/Who's Who in the World), I tried to show the relevance with citations of articles and one US patent. What can be done to remove the remark This biographical article needs additional citations for verification? I'm looking forward hearing from you. Thank you. The article you reviewed called Insaniyat Kay Dushman (1990 film)

[edit]

The article Insaniyat Kay Dushman (1990 film) is actually created by a sock puppet. check Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vamsiraj. Wgolf (talk) 18:34, 24 May 2015 (UTC) Thank you for the note. Nielsonharris (talk) 17:39, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your edit to Badii Devrani because the article does not meet one of the criteria for speedy deletion. Please take to article to WP:AFD if you still feel it should be deleted. Cheers. JbhTalk 14:44, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging of Sebastian Fors

[edit]

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Sebastian Fors. I do not think that Sebastian Fors fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because "won HTC Invitational" is a claim of significence. I request that you consider not re-tagging Sebastian Fors for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. DES (talk) 20:08, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
