Edit conflicts
[edit]Hi, Do you know what you are doing when reaching edit conflict? You should not overwrite other editors edits and your edits are not very good, inserting wrong dashes, time of goal, linebreak and so on. QED237 (talk) 16:08, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Jamie Sendles-White
[edit]The article Jamie Sendles-White has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence player meets WP:NFOOTBALL or WP:GNG. Hasn't played in a fully professional league or been the recipient of significant coverage in reliable sources
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hack (talk) 11:53, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2014–15 Queens Park Rangers F.C. season. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 00:59, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
Fixtures
[edit]Hi,
I told you in edit summaries not to add the fixtures. It is against british copyright laws as a company, Football DataCo, owns all the fixtures rights and everyone who wants to include them must pay a fee. Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia and can not pay for this fee or any possible court-fees if we dont follow this. It has been discussed many times before after different court rulings and we decided not add fixtures (but sometimes we can show next game, but only next game).
You can read more about it at:
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 70#Premier League fixtures
- Talk:2013–14 Sunderland A.F.C. season#Fixtures
and probably at more places. Look at all other english article and see for yourself, they dont have any fixtures (if they do they should be removed). So please stop adding the fixtures. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 14:15, 9 November 2014 (UTC)

QPR
[edit]Hi,
I have promised an explanation for reverting you at 2014–15 Queens Park Rangers F.C. season and since you dont seem to understand what I gave you as response at my talkpage and has continued with same disruptive edits I will try and explain here. Also I recommend you talk and make sure you understand before making same edit again since it may have you blocked. I will list the issues I have and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
I think you should also read Template:Football box collapsible/doc for information on how to update that template.
Here are my issues:
- Why are you using BST (British Summer Time) in December? You must be the only one who thinks itis summer in December (think Santa Claus disagrees). It is currently GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) in England for their matches so use that.
- The score should be written without any dashes so
|score=1–1
and NOT|score=1 – 1
. This as per template documentation and all other tournaments and pages (like 2014 FIFA World Cup, 2014–15 FA Cup, 2014–15 Arsenal F.C. season and so on) we always do this. No extra space! - Why are you removing proper wikilinks like here? The page for Wolverhampton is Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. so there is no need to wikilink to the redirect "Wolverhampton Wanderers". Why change [[Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.|Wolverhampton Wanderers]] to [[|Wolverhampton Wanderers]]? Stop doing that.
- Why are you adding attendance in brackets? The template documentation is clear, it should be total attendance as the match report says. There is no need to list away fans (if that is what it is for?) only total attendance is notable.
- I understand you work on the goal first, then yellow cards but according to consensus and template documetation it is always ordered chronologiccally, template doc states "Preference should be given to listing goals (and cards) in chronological order".
- Also there is no need for spaces between players, what are you supposed to achieve by that, use {{yel|23}}
[[Richard.. and NOT {{yel|23}}
[[Richard.. with the spaces around br-tag.
- You muswt also update timestamps when you are updating stats. You can not add result from 20 December when the footer of the stats section say "as of 16 December" then that stats section is incorrect so make sure you update the timestamps
- Pre-adding dashes is also not recommended, we use template standard that automatically adds a v.
- Correct english is to write "second" and not mix numbers and letters "2nd".
As you can see there is a lot of issues (some bigger and some smaller) I have with you doing same problematic edit several times so I suggest you read Template:Football box collapsible/doc and ask me if you have any questions. Doing it over and over again which you have (for example [1], [2], [3], [4] and [5]) could have had you blocked already, but I feel nice when it is the holidays coming up. As I said please ask me questions if you have any or comment if you dont agree with any of my "issues". Merry Christmas! QED237 (talk) 19:25, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
- And PLEASE foloow source. I have explained to you two times (this is third) that QPR was NOT 16TH after MATCHDAY 17. Plesae follow source or your edits will be considered disruptive going against source. Also note it is MATCHDAY (the day QPR played) and not round as it is consensus round dont esixt in englsih football. QED237 (talk) 16:26, 27 December 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Reece Grego-Cox
[edit]The article Reece Grego-Cox has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A youth team player who has not played any games in a fully professional league. Fails both WP:NFOOTBALL and WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Egghead06 (talk) 07:34, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
Football statistics
[edit]Hi, many thanks for taking some interest in updating the infobox statistics for footballers. It would be useful if you could set the timestamps for the changes at the same time as you change the appearance/goal figures. There is a field name |pcupdate=
or |club-update=
, usually at the bottom of the template, that should be changed. The equivalent for international matches is |ntupdate=
or |nationalteam-update=
. All you have to do is replace the contents of the field with 5 tilde characters, ~~~~~, which when saved will be converted into the date/time of the change. Regards. Keith D (talk) 13:40, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
