Welcome and comment

[edit]

Hi NextGen911, welcome. Please read wp:coi. The key to content additions and articles is including citations to reliable independent souces. The basis for inclusion is whether there is substantial coverage from these sources. I haven't had a chance yet to look at the article you created in detail, but glancing at it it seemed to need a lot more in the way of citations. Keep in mind this is an encyclopedia, so think about how that type of article is written and edited. Also, here's a ginormous welcome template with some links that may or may not be useful.

Hopefully, I'm replying correctly. Thank you for your comments, and please do look at the article in detail when you can. It needs to be a good article, and I'll do everything I can to that end - your comments will be welcome! I can add a lot more citations, and will. Hopefully others will take up the task too, and help make this a GA. I re-read the COI stuff again per your suggestion. Again, thanks. I think this whole Wikipedia concept is tremendous, and all these rules are to keep it that way. Someone below suggested I take advantage of mentoring, and I'll do that. Once I get the wiki thing down, I want to contribute where I can. Great thing, this Wikipedia! NextGen911 (talk) 18:08, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your response. user:RexxS checked the article out more thoroughly and said it looks like it's off to a good start. You can ask anyone for help or type {{helpme}} and your question on this page and someone will reply. And I'm happy to help in any way I can so just let me know if there's something you need and I will try to point you in the right direction. Cheers. RE: Request for adoption

[edit]

Hello NextGen911, thanks for choosing me to request adoption :). I was just reading your first article Next Generation 9-1-1, and it is well written. Nothing on the article strikes out as "what the hell is that?" kind of thing with me, because as I say, it is well written, and as far as I can see nothing is abbreviated without explanation. Once again thanks for asking me, and I would love to adopt you. Please bear in mind that I am 15 and I obviously attend school so the week-day time I can give will be limited, but at weekends I am on more-or-less all of the time. Please reply if you are still interested. Also, if you have any questions to ask or the like, please ask them at the adoption page I have made. RE: Adoption

[edit]

Hello. I placed your questions User:Police,Mad,Jack/adoptions, instead of User:Police,Mad,Jack/adoptions 1 because that was an archive. I am in the process of answering them now at User:Police,Mad,Jack/adoptions, so please respond at User:Police,Mad,Jack/adoptions rather than User:Police,Mad,Jack/adoptions 1. Please note that I have now replied to you at User:Police,Mad,Jack/adoptions. Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 16:58, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
