Kevin Mendoza

[edit]

It has been said that 16 year-old Salvadoran player Kevin Mendoza might be playing for Manchester City F.C., as said in the link here - Espera el sí o no de Manchester. We are wondering if we should make an article for Mendoza??? Thanks. Soccafanatic7 (talk) 00:48, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Salvadoran Club templates

[edit]

Hey Narios, I was wondering, since you have a lot of knowledge in the Salvadoran league, if you could create squad templates for the Salvadoran teams. The following have already been created;

   * Template:Alianza F.C. squad
   * Template:C.D. Atlético Balboa squad
   * Template:C.D. FAS squad
   * Template:C.D. Luís Ángel Firpo squad
   * Template:C.D. Águila squad

(If any of the squad members above are incorrect, please correct them) Soccafanatic7 (talk) 14:42, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Image-Nejapa FC.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 03:09, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jorge Elenilson Sánchez, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Jorge Elenilson Sánchez Garay. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 11:21, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE DO NOT DELETE THE Alfredo Pacheco page that I have created with factual information. yOU TAKE OUT ALL HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND INFORMATION FROM HIS CURRENT CLUB TO JUST SITE THAT A CLUB IS PURSUING HIM. Please do not vandalize the page again. thanks Elomen76

According to laprensagrafica.com Pacheco has appeared in 216 league games and scored 30 goals, the stats you posted do not reflect that, also can you update his club status as he has confirmed he is joining Red Bulls and also confirmed by FAS in various reports. Elomen76

You removed factual information that I added to his entry and his brother Raul. This is factual information that can be verified through the LA Salsa roster, citing his father as a player, and school records at LAUSD citing Salvador Coreas Pérez and his brother Raul, as students at Glassell Park elementary school in Los Angeles. Please place notes when deleting . (talk)

Hey, Narios.

I'm wondering if you have any proof of links for a existing club above? I would love to take on the job of helping editing the club out!

Proposed deletion of Óscar Arroyo

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Óscar Arroyo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Article about footballer who has not played in a fully-pro league; fails WP:N and WP:ATHLETE.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 20:13, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Eladio Ramirez has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about athlete who hasn't played in a fully-pro league and which fails the general notability guideline.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. AfD nomination of Eladio Ramirez

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Eladio Ramirez. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eladio Ramirez. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 02:17, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it seems we have different views when it comes to the squad section within the article. I understand. However I believe players should be listed according to their current club. If we were talking about the squad within the tournament's main article, then what you say would apply. In this case it does not. JGA2k (Talk) 19:54, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
