Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (i failed to add references and did not understand guidelines, now that i have corrected the text in talk page my mistakes may be condoned and speedy deletion withdrwan) --N.nandhivarman 00:07, 30 March 2016 (UTC) I have edited condensed and given only short note about me. I have added links to verify everything stated and wrote about the party but my edits on 29.06.2018 had been changed may be by robot. A manual examination will reveal that it does not need deletion.

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Dravida Peravai, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. The DP was formed in 1996 by a break-away faction of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.[1] The Party claims to be a "Green" party. The present Party General Secretary is N. Nandhivarman. The DP strives to unite Tamils and impart a scientific outlook for the enrichment of Tamil culture. Dravida Peravai remained Associate Party of Samata Party till George Fernandes was President. [1998-2006] and in August 19 of 2018 renewed its status as associate party and special invitee  at Patna in the Janata Dal[United] headed by Nitish Kumar.

Party also spearheads a movement for separate Union Territory for Karaikal within Indian Union.[9]
