Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:22, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Markup language, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Blue pencil. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of RILW180MMEF-BEK
[edit]Hello MyTuppence,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged RILW180MMEF-BEK for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TheLongTone (talk) 12:00, 6 March 2015 (UTC)

Maintenance tags
[edit]Hello. I'm aware that all Dave Nugent's clubs are in there now, because I added the missing one, along with correcting the appearances count and including mention of his playing in the Premier Peague as well as the FL. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:17, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
I restored the link although I am not crazy about it. It has an aura of indirect gossip about it and there must be more direct links that cover the topic. Also, the url name "John and Norma aghast at wedding" was misleading. Yours, Quis separabit? 17:41, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at H. Montgomery Hyde. This has gone on long enough. If you remove the ref improve tag again without first resolving the issues or gaining talk page consensus you will be asked to explain your actions at ANI. Recent editing
[edit]Your recent behavior; disruptive editing and creation of a sock account; shows that you are less inclined to civil discussion. This can be concidered as to having a battleground mentality or incompetent at worst. Especially because of your edit summary in this removal. It is clear that the page has not been improved in anyway by simply removing the tag. While it may make the page look better, it does not address the underlying problem. But I digress; when you revert someone on their addition of anything, it is best to leave them a note, either on their talk page, or by pinging them to a note on the talk page. So please, next time something like this happens, it does not have to be the other editor who opens discussion. However, if they revert you, you should almost definitely be the one who opens up the discussion. You stated WP:BRD, but did not make any action to follow the BRD process. You reverted, but then declined to take part in the discussion opened to you. Just be more open to talking about things, and stuff like this is less likely to happen. (However, I cannot guess why you created an alternate account, so I do not know if it was related to this or not. Just don't do that.) -- Orduin Discuss 20:06, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
