Please help me with a stub or biography for Ellen Vannessa daughter of Phillip Chiyangwa?

[edit]

I want to start a stub or biography for business woman Ellen Vannessa daughter of Phillip Chiyangwa. Her dad is already on Wikipedia and she is listed as her daughter. Please help?Munya29 (talk) 06:43, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

She would not merit an article simply because her dad may merit an article; notability is not inherited. She will need to have been written about in independent reliable sources with in depth coverage, that indicates how she meets the notability guidelines for biographies. Such sources do not include things like interviews, press releases, or a personal website. If you have appropriate sources, I would suggest using Articles for Creation to create and submit a draft for review, which will allow you to get feedback on it before it is formally placed in the encyclopedia, instead of afterwards. 331dot (talk) 09:17, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please note, the basis of the article is not that her dad merits an article, it is because she is an African entrepreneur making an impact and is a public figure. Business Insider is one of the most reliable independent sources around and they wrote about her. Munya29 (talk) 15:24, 21 November 2018 (UTC) I have created a draft already and submitted it for review. The draft has a bit more info than what i put on here.
