Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mudolab. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Edron Academy, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You have added "our students are confident communicators", which suggests you work at the school. Tacyarg (talk) 09:14, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since you have continued to edit in a promotional way after being informed three times that doing so is unacceptable, this account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. In addition, another account editing on behalf of the same school as you had already been informed of Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline and related matters before your present account started editing. I have no way of knowing whether you personally knew of that, nor even whether you are the same person who used that account, or someone else who has taken over the same work; however, that is of no importance, because informing someone working for the school amounts to informing the school. If you were not the person who was warned, and that person failed to pass on the message, it is unfortunate, and you may like to make sure that this time you do pass the message on to whoever is appropriate. Now that warnings have been given twice, any further editing contrary to one or more of the guideline on conflict of interest, the policy on neutral point of view, the policy on promotion, or the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use relating to paid editing, may well result in immediate blocking of any accounts and/or IP addresses used for editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading guide to appealing blocks and then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page, replacing "Your reason here" with appropriate text.
