Mount Ulla Map

[edit]

Hi - I saw your comment on my Wikimedia Commons talk page about File:Map of Rowan County North Carolina With Municipal and Township Labels.PNG. I did not make the map, just edited it from a US Census map, so I cannot add things to it (especially unincorporated communities, which are poorly defined). I did edit Mount Ulla Township, Rowan County, North Carolina to add the existing locator map to the infobox. Hope this helps, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 01:28, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, The LandTrust for Central North Carolina, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. A tag has been placed on Dream Isaiah Saw requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ‑‑V.S.(C)(T) 06:22, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, MtUllaHistorian. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "The LandTrust for Central North Carolina".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 20:38, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the work that you have done on Mt. Ulla Township. I have added a few things to it from what I have learned about counties in NC. I am currently working on a draft biography of Thomas Gillespie, who lived on Sills Creek before the township was created.

User:G._Moore Talk 17:57, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I rearrange some of it on the page for better flow. If I come across anything related to Thomas Gillespie, I will add it or let you know. Do you have access to the maps of original land owners in the area? I have a copy should you need a reference. Actually Back Creek used to be called Gillespie Creek.
