- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk • contribs) 08:09, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Caleigh Peters, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. consarn (formerly cogsan) 20:54, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- for clarification, forgetting to sign comments in xfd venues causes malformed nominations, which can't normally be replied to with the reply tool, and causes other tools to glitch out (if they even work)
- i'll recommend activating twinkle for xfd purposes, as that automatically signs your noms consarn (formerly cogsan) 20:57, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! I did not know. It was confusing. Moondust534 (talk) 21:56, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Yutah123. I noticed that you recently removed content from Jon Peters without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. While I understand that Jon Peters' involvement (or lack thereof) in Man of Steel is controversial, he is listed in the film's credits. If you wish to change the contents of the article despite this, I recommend you gain consensus on the article's talk page. Yutah123 (talk) 22:37, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
Inappropriate AFD Nomination
[edit]Hey @Moondust534, welcome to Wikipedia your AFD nomination is inappropriate. You edits here appear to be unintentionally vandalizing the wiki. I recommend you get more experience before making nuanced policy edits and deletion nominations. It's a red flag. Consider withdrawing your nomination and avoiding AFD nominations until you get a better grasp of wikipedia :)( 2603:8001:1DF0:7250:84F:1F8A:9022:3470 (talk) 00:19, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- 2603:8001:1DF0:7250:84F:1F8A:9022:3470, there is nothing inappropriate about this AFD nomination. Please allow the discussion process to proceed without interruption. Liz Read! Talk! 00:17, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
