Question
[edit]Hello, can one use AWB to replace deprecated templates? Thanks, RodRabelo7 (talk) 02:18, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) @RodRabelo7: Yes, that is possible. You could try WP:AWBREQ. Polygnotus (talk) 10:46, 5 August 2024 (UTC)
Getting cite errors via the API
[edit]Would you be so kind to take a look at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Getting_Cite_errors_and_CS1/CS2_errors_for_an_article_via_the_API? Thanks in advance, Polygnotus (talk) 22:38, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- Those sorts of errors have nothing to do with cs1|2. The particular error that you mentioned indicates that there a reference that looks like this:
<ref name="they-never-said-it" />
. But there isn't any completely defined<ref name="they-never-said-it">...</ref>
. Those referencing details are outside of the cs1|2 bailiwick. - —Trappist the monk (talk) 22:57, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, I learned a new word today. I have updated the question over at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Getting_Cite_errors_and_CS1/CS2_errors_for_an_article_via_the_API to keep the discussion centralized. Really appreciate your help! Polygnotus (talk) 00:32, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
