Request on a block

Hi! will you please check my talk page at negarmottahedeh You blocked me. If you check my IP you'll know that I don't have multiple accounts and that I was working from the best of my knowledge. More explanation there. I'd appreciate you unblocking me since the assumptions you made about me and my work on Wiki are not quite on target I appreciate what you do here. Thank you for taking the time with my talk page. Thank you in advance for unblocking me.

Cornell Club

I noticed from the archive that you deleted the Cornell Club article at 2009-08-29T10:22:58. Can you please explain why you chose to delete that article and not, for example, Princeton Club of New York, Harvard Club of New York, Penn Club of New York City, and Yale Club of New York City. Other articles were referencing the Cornell Club page, which broke after you deleted it. External sites like Facebook also reference the Cornell Club page, which similarly broke. If you wish to delete all the four ivy club pages, feel free, but I cannot fathom what your rationale was for deleting just one of them. -- Thoreaulylazy (talk) 02:09, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Here's an quoted section from the Yale Club of New York article: "Four other clubs affiliated with Ivy League universities have clubhouses in the surrounding neighborhood: the Harvard Club of New York, the Princeton Club of New York, the Penn Club of New York City, and the Cornell Club.[1] The neighborhood also includes similar clubs not affiliated with universities, like the New York Yacht Club and the University Club of New York,[1] as well as the flagship stores of Brooks Brothers, J. Press, and Paul Stuart, which traditionally catered to the club set.[2]" All the club pages are fairly small and need work. Unless you plan a massive deletion exercise for all club pages, please refrain from deleting the Cornell Club page. In advance, thank you. -- Thoreaulylazy (talk) 02:11, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Requesting Deleted Article Move

I am requesting that you move the deleted article Bu Cu Tao Animal Research Center found here http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Bu_Cu_Tao_Animal_Research_Center to my user page please, if that is possible. I do not need you to reinstate the article but merely put it in my user page. Thanks! Facemasked (talk) 05:56, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi. I notice you're something of a regular there and I just thought I'd pop in and say hello- it's nice to know I'm not the only one reverting the vandals there- he seems to get inundated with them at random intervals, then nobody edits it for weeks! All the best. HJMitchell You rang? 03:23, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Yep - seen you around too. I'm not sure how I became a protector of Jared's article, but it seems I have. Funny the things you end up adopting on Wikipedia. Keep up the good fight!--Kubigula (talk) 04:31, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Will do. I can't help but wonder what he's done to earn such contempt from the vandals, but there seem to be quite a few of them! HJMitchell You rang? 04:42, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Community de-Adminship - finalization poll for the CDA proposal

You are recieving this notice as you have participated in the Admin Recall discussion pages.

A poll was held on fourteen proposals, and closed on 16th November 2009. Only one proposal gained majority support - community de-adminship - and this proposal is now being finessed into a draft RFC Wikipedia talk:Community de-adminship/Draft RfC, which, if adopted, will create a new process.

After tolling up the votes within the revision proposals for CDA, it emerged that proposal 5.4 had the most support, but elements of that support remained unclear, and various comments throughout the polls needed consideration.

A finalisation poll (intended, if possible, to be one last poll before finalising the CDA proposal) has been run to;

  • gather opinion on the 'consensus margin' (what percentages, if any, have the most support) and

Virginia

I noticed your comment on Malleus's talk page. I wondered, do you have any source material which might spill over into Blackbeard? I'm completely re-writing that article, and have just got to the part where Alexander Spotswood, Governor of Virginia, decides he wants to sort out the pirates. If you had any sources that mention what happened, it might be useful. Parrot of Doom 20:39, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Sorry I completely messed that up. I thought I was reverting the vandalism but instead reverted back to it. Thanks for fixing it :) Jevansen (talk) 05:19, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

No worries - I was confused for a second, then I realised what had likely happened. I've done it many times too.--Kubigula (talk) 05:22, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Recently deleted image

Hey, I see you recently deleted File:Vince Shlomi 2.jpg. Now, please forgive me, I should have contested the speedy deletion with a hangon tag, but I haven't had the time since it was tagged. This image is, indeed PD, and was verified through OTRS under File:Vince Offer at Rosebowl Fleamarket.jpg. Now, restoring would be pointless here, but this is just a friendly note that image was indeed not a copyvio. Thanks. Connormah (talk | contribs) 21:26, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Ha, that's fine. I actually didn't do it, but she had sent me a FlickrMail saying we could use it, but that was way back before I knew OTRS even existed, haha. See you around. Connormah (talk | contribs) 03:46, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Hello Kubigula...long time no talk. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

I was wondering if I could get some help digging up some references on the Demographics of Stephens City, Virginia. I am working to get the article to Good Article status (and one day Featured) and that is one of the sections that needs extensive referencing. If you or someone you know in WP:VIRGINIA could take a look and dig them up, I would be most greatful. Thanks...NeutralHomerTalk20:24, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for blocking user 94.76.206.194. He was being very destructive with his vulgar images. Adrenalin 150% (talk) 04:48, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Actually he might have circumvented it. I don't know how he edited his own talk page like that. Adrenalin 150% (talk) 04:51, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Blocks don't prevent users from editing their own talk pages (this allows them to file requests for unblock). However, their pages are subject to protection if the privilege is abused, as it was here - so I have protected. This is the same person as User:91.215.157.84, who was doing the same nonsense earlier.--Kubigula (talk) 04:54, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
I'd like to give you this for your efforts to place on your user page. Thanks. Deagle_AP (talk) 13:59, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

WP:VIRGINIA Question

Hey Kubigula, long time, no speak. Hope all is well. I was wondering, as a member of WP:VIRGINIA, could you do an assesment for me? I have an article waiting (and waiting for a month) for an assessment and if it gets an assessment from WP:VIRGINIA, all other templates follow. Could you take a look at Stephens City, Virginia (currently B grade and low importance) and assess it, if possible. Thanks. - NeutralHomerTalk23:55, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! :) I had help from some good people too who lead me in the right direction on the page, so they a TON of credit as well. I learned alot about building and writing an article, "reference everything", and tons more from them, so in my next artcile I am working on, Newtown-Stephensburg Historic District (also in Stephens City), I will be able to do some of the work on my own with the knowledge they have given me....I will probably still request some help at some point, but I think I can do a little more by myself. It is tough work, but fun work, I have to admit. :) Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk20:21, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

A Userbox

With your help, together we brought the Stephens City, Virginia article to Good Article status. May I be the first to award you the following userbox and thank you for helping me on this article. I look forward to working with you in the future as I move the article closer to Featured Article status.

Again....Thank You! :) - NeutralHomerTalk23:48, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Independent Review Request on Stephens City, Virginia

Hello, I am awaiting an official peer review, but was told by a FAC delegate to get as many people looking at the page as possible. The page just received GA status today. At your earliest convenience, could you take a look at the Stephens City, Virginia page and review it (placing it on the page's talk page or mine is fine) independent of the official peer review. I would open to any and all requests during the review. Thanks...NeutralHomerTalk01:24, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

The article Smith & Welton has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable shops, local interest only

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 20:07, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

Request for userfication

I found your name on the list of folks who would userfy deleted pages; could you please userfy the recently deleted David Esrati page for me so I can work on it? Thanks for your time and consideration. TooSimplicious (talk) 16:49, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Request appears to be moot at this point.--Kubigula (talk) 03:19, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Yes, thanks. Another admin emailed me the last state after I created a mess trying to copy in a Google cached copy. TooSimplicious (talk) 03:24, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

A Class Articles

I was wondering, when do I go and request an A Class assessment? I tried at WP:CITIES, but that are so backed up it is silly. I know I can request one from WP:VIRGINIA and the WP:CITIES one will be "upgraded" with it. Could you take a look at the Stephens City, Virginia page in the next couple days (or today if you have time) and see if it fits A Class. If it doesn't, let me know how to go about getting A Class. Thanks. :) - NeutralHomerTalk03:30, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi

You should not have removed the beautiful image I so lovingly put on Faeces page, we need at least one human-product image, no ?  Jon Ascton  (talk) 14:53, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

The issue has come up a few times before, and the consensus has been that we don't need a human product image. Such images don't add much enlightment, as we all know what human feces looks like. So it winds up adding little more than shock value and provoking arguments.--Kubigula (talk) 23:07, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Stephens City FAC

I just wanted to leave you a note (as I did at WP:Virginia) letting you know that the Stephens City, Virginia article is currently in FAC. You may find the FAC here. - NeutralhomerTalk23:18, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for the compliment and thank you for standing up for me those years ago. No worries on the A review. I was on a "sorta" vacation due to dental surgery so I kinda let the article sit while that happened. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
Oh, on a slightly related side note, I have created (which I thought I had) "Virginia Barnstar" and placed it on the bottom of WP:Virginia. Anyone can use it for Virginia related articles and editing. Just something neat that I thought we should have. Take Care...NeutralhomerTalk04:30, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I bet you had more fun waking up this morning than I did on my "vacation". It was not a fun "vacation", but it is the first step to getting my smile back. - NeutralhomerTalk04:59, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Sinan Pasha Mosque of Prizren

Hi there hope all is well. I created the stub Sinan Pasha Mosque, Prizren, and then I realized that you had deleted Sinan Pasha Mosque (Prizren). Could you please restore it and I will redirect my created article to the one you deleted? We should be consistent with the disambiguation page Sinan Pasha Mosque. Let me know. Thanks! --Sulmues (talk) 18:08, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

I sent it to DYK, but in order to be consistent with the many other Sinan Pasha Mosques, it should be renamed to Sinan Pasha Mosque (Prizren) and only you can do it. --Sulmues (talk) 23:00, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Re: Congrats!

Thanks! :) There was a time I even didn't think it was going to pass, but I kept diggin' until it was up there. I have one more thing left to do on the article....TFA. I submitted for WP:TFA/R, so if it passes, it will be featured on September 10th, 9 days late of my perfered September 1st (the 252nd anniversary of Stephens City's charter). It has been over two years of work, two reviews, one failed GA, one passed GA, one passed FA, numerous edits and tons of people helping me....and if it weren't for the latter, I don't think it (or I) would have made it this far. It has been a whole new test and challenge that a mere radio station just couldn't give. I have a whole new set of articles I want to create, work on and get to GA status and then FA, so this should be fun. :) Thanks! :) - NeutralhomerTalk04:04, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Harmonizer

A harmonizer is a type of effects unit commonly used when recording rock music. It needs its own page, as many pages were linking to a Norweigan pop album called "Harmonizer" erroneously. I created a page for the album called "Harmonizer (album)" and then intended to use the "Harmonizer" page for the effects unit. Unfortunately, someone has turned the "Harmonizer" page into a disambiguation page.

Please reverse the edit that made it a disambiguation page. Thanks--Atlantictire (talk) 18:31, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
