Speedy deletion nomination of User:MohammadElMedawar
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:MohammadElMedawar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @Viewmont Viking: Dear Viewmont Viking, I understand very well your deletion of my article.
The text that I wrote is exactly the same as the text written in this Wikipedia article https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Michael_Langston
Mr. Michael works as a professor at a university, and I work also as a lecturer in a reputable university. Mr. Michael work in research field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and I work also in the research field of the same topics. Mr. Michael has multiple publications and he mentioned only 1 reference, and also I have multiple publications and I mentioned 1 reference.
May I know why my article is deleted while the article of Mr. Michael is available online.
I'm willing to listen to you, know what wrong I am doing and to correct my mistakes. My ultimate goal is to have my profile published on Wikipedia.
I truly believe that my article is notable (unique), I am not advertising myself, and I have an important award, and a very notable invention in the field of education. Moreover, I didn't write the article myself. Someone wrote it for me in a very neutral and non biased way, and I am just publishing it under my name. If that suits you, I can send it to you and you can publish it under your name so it doesn't show as autobiographyMohammadElMedawar (talk) 11:27, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is notable and unique, and moreover, I'm talking about myself in a neutral way. In addition, I have 14 references and an award and all of them are stated. Moreover, I'm focusing about my thesis in my masters which is entitled "Cuckoo Search for Portfolio Optimization". I didn't mention any word like "The best trainer" or "the best companies". --MohammadElMedawar (talk) 13:45, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
- A userpage is not an article and it is important to make the distinction between the two. Your userpage is a special page where you can write a small amount about yourself, and typically written in the first person. Although a great deal of freedom is given to personalize your userpage, it is not a personal website or social media page, nor a resumé/CV or extensive autobiography. The userpage guidelines have more detail about what is (and is not) considered acceptable content.
- A Wikipedia article is a page that covers a topic deemed to be notable enough for inclusion. A topics is notable if it has gained sufficiently significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time, and is not outside the scope of Wikipedia. We consider evidence from reliable and independent sources to gauge this attention. Articles must be written from a neutral point of view, and should be authored by editors with no personal or professional affiliation with the topic. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:42, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Mohammad El Medawar, from its old location at User:MohammadElMedawar/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Draft:Mohammad El Medawar. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Mohammad El Medawar
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Mohammad El Medawar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, MohammadElMedawar. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. – Athaenara ✉ 19:52, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
I didn't write the article myself. A copywriter wrote it for me and I am publishing it under my own account. So, what is wrong with that? what do you suggest so my problem gets solved and my article gets published?
- The copywriter is associated with you and the article was still published by yourself, so the COI remains. You need someone who is not in any way associated with you to write up the article about you independently, and you can point them to a list of references from external news sources / journals. You can also make a request for an article at Wikipedia:Requested articles/Biography/By profession AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 14:09, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
@Athaenara: Ok I understand. Can you article the article on my behalf and publish it yourself? MohammadElMedawar (talk) 14:33, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

- Hello, Mohammad,
- I see you have a lot of questions about how Wikipedia works and our standards of notability for academics. However, no one will see your comments on your user talk page. I recommend you bring them to the Teahouse where experienced editors can address your concerns. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:24, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
- I did look over your CV and as someone with advanced degrees, you should realize that a college instructor and computer trainer are not on the same level as a full professor at a research university. I don't think I've seen articles on a college instructor unless they were notable in another field, like an author or poet. It's unlikely that an assistant professor would have a Wikipedia article, much less an instructor. But go to the Teahouse, you can get more answers there. Liz Read!
