Could you swap the page histories for WLFV and WWLB? The station's swapped callsigns on October 31, 2014. Thanks...NeutralhomerTalk08:09, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

That's a double page rename - assuming nobody beats me to it, I can take care of that when I get home tonight. No problem. Mlaffs (talk) 11:55, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

::Just a heads up, for some reason the WWLB page is still showing as a redirect. - NeutralhomerTalk05:02, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Never mind, I seen where it went. You moved it to WWLB (FM). My mistake, it wasn't on my watchlist yet. :) - NeutralhomerTalk05:05, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm in the middle of the moves. Had to move "WLFV" to "WWLB (FM)", and then wait for all the articles linked from the navboxes to catch up with the change. Then I moved "WWLB" to "WLFV". Once the navboxes catch up with that change, then I can move "WWLB (FM)" to "WWLB". Have to do it that way to make sure that any of the other articles that happen to include a link to the article that's moved can be found and fixed.Mlaffs (talk) 05:08, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
I thought you were going to make WWLB a disambig page and with the article on WWLB (FM)....but that makes sense. I just wish "What Links Here" would update quicker than it does when you changes links and whatnot. :) - NeutralhomerTalk05:39, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of television stations in Alaska, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kalskag, Alaska. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of television stations in Arizona may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • | [[Independent station (North America|Independent]]

Just a heads up on the ClearChannel category switch, the new company name is "iHeartMedia", not "IHeartMedia". Hopefully I caught you before you got too far into the process. - NeutralhomerTalk21:36, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

No, I know. The naming structure is set up that everything starts with a capital letter, though. You use a template on the category page to change how the title displays, but everywhere else, it uses the capital at the start. See Category:IPhone for the best example. Mlaffs (talk) 21:49, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
This I did not know. I thought categories were different and could start with a lowercase. My goof. :) - NeutralhomerTalk22:25, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi, it looks as if you moved all the contents from Category:Clear Channel radio stations into Category:iHeartMedia radio stations manually after closing this CFD. Did you know we normally use a bot to do that, simply by listing it at WP:CFDW? For more info on implementing CFDs, see WP:CFDAI. Let me know if you have any questions about that.

You listed it at WP:CFDWM instead. If you have finished, please remember to delete the category page, then de-list it from that page. Thanks! – Fayenatic London 18:28, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi again, as you have emptied Category:Clear Channel radio stations, please either redirect it or delete it. – Fayenatic London 08:33, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Please read WP:R2D; the correct link is WTEV-TV. --NE2 21:42, 11 November 2014 (UTC)

I'm familiar with the guideline and, in most other scenarios, I wouldn't have bothered. Unfortunately, U.S. radio and television stations change call signs so often that it's usually preferable to pipe historical links when the article is renamed. Otherwise, when another station assumes that call sign, we'll end up with incorrect links if the person who moves that article doesn't disambiguate correctly first. Mlaffs (talk) 21:58, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
You could create a redirect at WTEV-TV (1996-2014) or WTEV-TV (Jacksonville) for that. This is how highways are usually handled, such as U.S. Route 48 (1969-1989) or Interstate 170 (Maryland). --NE2 22:08, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
Actually, there's a definite benefit to doing this (other than the indirect benefits of redirects): if they change call signs again, you don't have to go through all these articles a second time just to relink the new ones. --NE2 22:19, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
