Evolution of aging

[edit]

Your contribution evolution of aging was marked (by another user) for speedy deletion, as it read more like an essay. Instead of deleting it, I have "userfied" it (made it a subpage of your userpage) under User:Mitteldorf/Evolution of aging. This way the content will not get lost.

I suspect most of the content can be merged with senescence; there is no need to go into great detail. Simply identifying the schools of thought should be enough. JFW | T@lk 14:00, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message, Josh. Several users in fact felt it was not suitable as an encyclopedia article. I think it is more a problem with style than with content. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to add the relevant material to senescence, probably in a slightly more concise form. JFW | T@lk 18:27, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on Jules Verne

[edit]
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

Hi. Please note that you introduced an unnecessary change to Jules Verne, and it has been reverted. Xiner (talk, email) 14:56, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Consumer price index

[edit]

Your recent edits to consumer price index, which cited a recent article by Kevin Phillips, have emphasized the possibility that in recent years the U.S. CPI may have understated the true rate of inflation. However, to maintain a neutral point of view, it is important that the reader also be aware that many economists, including the members of the Boskin Commission such as Robert J. Gordon, argue that the U.S. CPI overstates the rate of inflation. To be neutral, both points of view must be presented. Cournot (talk) 18:07, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Anna Kamienska requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Black Eagle Trust has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on File:Atacama-skeleton.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I cited a Nobel prize winner (Luc Montagnier), the New York Times, and the President of the UN Sustainable Development Network (Jeffrey Sachs). All of these have contradicted our CDC. If Wikipedia prefers CDC under all circumstances, then Wikipedia is an organ of the State and not a collaboration of the People. Mitteldorf (talk) 10:49, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits are full of pov such as [1] calling this group a "vaccine safety group" or " A year after Boyle was denounced as a conspiracy theorist, the idea that SARS-CoV-2 originated in a laboratory gained acceptance in mainstream sources." which may have reflected some views than but not today. Clearly pov. Doug Weller talk 11:22, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
