I am an intern at the Huntington quarterly. I was assigned to create this page. All of this information came straight from the founder. What do I do now? 2601:5C5:4302:9820:139:C041:D883:53D0 (talk) 04:09, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict) WP:YFA is the guideline to article creation; *but* before you edit the page further, you need to read both WP:COI and WP:PAID and make any necessary declarations; the latter is mandatory under Wikipedia's terms of use. It is also necessary to mention that any article which may exist in the future will not be the property of your employer and no persons connected with them should edit it. Your employer cannot 'assign' the creation of an article (which is probably more complicated a task than they realise). Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and does not operate in the same manner as social media to provide 'profiles' or for publicity purposes. Encyclopedic articles are based on what has been written about a topic in multiple reliable, independent sources. See WP:NOTABILITY in this respect. Thank you. As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Michaelw3211, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Michaelw3211|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 17:24, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where do I put this disclosure? Michaelw3211 (talk) 17:47, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
