Proposed deletion of Promotion of homosexuality
[edit]The article Promotion of homosexuality has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Original research
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing dated prod
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. OliverTwisted (Talk) (Stuff) 04:22, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Attacks in the article Promotion of homosexuality
[edit]Please do not make personal attacks as you did at Promotion of homosexuality. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images, especially those in violation of our Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy, will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. - The user did not specify what exactly were attacking, nor he edited article to remove alleged offensive content. Mest me n^^ (talk) 05:38, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Promotion of homosexuality. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The addition of the Washington Independent source was a quote by an individual, as recounted by another individual on a blog. It is not considered reliable for purposes of such a controversial statement, and was deleted. After the addition of a second source, the statement was edited to remove the claim that anyone other than Rep Steve King made the comment. Please be more careful with inserting information that is not correctly attributable to the original source. OliverTwisted (Talk) (Stuff) 07:19, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- The content was later removed on concerns of WP:BLP by another user. Mest me n^^ (talk) 05:36, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but one or more redirects you created, such as with Gay for a day, have been considered disruptive and/or malicious, and have been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Melchoir (talk) 08:21, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Please do not create malicious redirects, as you did with Gay lobby. They are disruptive and are considered vandalism, and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Melchoir (talk) 08:21, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- Very bad decision by the admin. While you deleted few more redirects other than you mentioned here, you are mentioning here only 2 that were border cases. You are trying to mislead others who look at my talk page. Mest me n^^ (talk) 05:36, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that article content should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Opposeition to promotion of homosexuality appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your redirect may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. When inserting POV pushing verbage into articles, be sure to spell the redirects correctly. I've tagged this page for deletion, due to the title being spelled wrong. You might want to try again. OliverTwisted (Talk) (Stuff) 13:37, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- The redirect was deleted for mis-spell, not attacking or anything. Regards. Mest me n^^ (talk) 05:36, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Promotion of homosexuality
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Promotion of homosexuality, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It covers a topic on which we already have an article - :{article}. (See section A10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at :{article}, or to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. - MrX 16:22, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
