Hey, thanks for catching that vandalism. Drop me a line on my talk page if you ever need anything, okay? Keep up the good work! GlassCobra (Review) 02:19, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, as near as I can tell, you're also User:Merotoker. Why create more than one name? If you don't mind me asking, of course. GlassCobra (Review) 02:33, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your edits of the wikilinks for South Park. I know it was tedious, and you definitely improved the quality of the article. — Yavoh 03:20, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comics Articles for Deletion

[edit]

One or more articles you’ve been involved in editing (Melter, Ringer (comics), Ego the Living Planet, or others) has been nominated for deletion. If you feel you can make contributions to the article to improve it and make it worth keeping, please do so. BOZ (talk) 15:50, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Working Man's Barnstar
Looking at your contribution history, with so many edit summaries that read "Avoided redirects and fixed texts" does not even begin to show the benefit of what you have been doing! Thank you for taking the time to do the type of extensive touch-up I would shun!--Midnightdreary (talk) 11:23, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Charles Adams

[edit]

Thank you for your update to the List of notable Vermonters. One small question about Adams, though. When he was born, Newport city did not exist. At best, it was a village. Therefore (if you are familiar with Vermont), he was really born in Newport Town. Having said that, I'm not at all sure that they claim him though they do share a history with the town. A bit confusing, I admit. Student7 (talk) 14:17, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In a recent edit to the page Koala, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or you can visit the help desk. Thank you. The spelling of kilometre, colour, and specialise, were correct. If you use a dictionary, you may be able to add non-American spellings. Otherwise, cheers for your contributions. cygnis insignis 07:24, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Karen Angle

[edit]

The filming of her and Kurt was part of the documentary "The Mania of WrestleMania". It was done during the weekend of WrestleMania XIX, but included on the WrestleMania XX DVD set. TJ Spyke 06:47, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation

Hi and thanks for fixing the dab links on Kate Winslet. I just wanted to point out that in the case of the Satellite Awards, there are separate pages for each award, so a dab link isn't needed. Thanks again. Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:11, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Having two different eye colors, though a symptom related to the biological meaning of "chimera" given in a dictionary, is irrelevant to the subject of this article. Can you see why the following sentence just isn't good enough, even if its sense were relevant: The term chimera has also come to mean more generally, an impossible or foolish fantasy, or if you have two different eye colors. --Wetman (talk) 18:25, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Galactus Edit War Mediation

[edit]

Hi. I'm trying to mediate an edit war over the Galactus article here. Can you chime in with your two cents? Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 00:12, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Fixing" redirects

[edit]

Hi Merotoker1, thanks for all your hard work on Wikipedia. I recently noticed that you are changing links that go to redirect pages; Wikipedia actually has guidelines against doing this, though. See Do not "fix" links to redirects that are not broken for more information.

Questioning your source

[edit]

Just so you don't miss it, I have raised a question about your source for Mort's species type on Talk:Madagascar (2005 film). Please stop by to discuss. –Visionholder (talk) 19:38, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jean Grey

[edit]

Hey there - I don't want to revert your recent change because most of it was good, but at the same time I'm wondering if you'd mind going back to fixing a few of the links you removed for comics creators. First of all, "Klaus Jeanson" was probably a typo and should be Klaus Janson. "Joe Rubenstein" is a misspelling, and should lead to Joe Rubinstein. "Terry Kavanaugh" is another likely misspelling, and and I suspect should be Terry Kavanagh. I check the rest and they seem to be, well, non-articles, so all's well. :) BOZ (talk) 03:51, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
