MenoBot on lb-Wikipedia

Hello,

Thanks for asking bot-status on lb-wikipedia.

Before we will be able to grant you bot status we kindly ask you to give us the following information:

  • How does your bot proceed actually? From which data do you start when running your bot, how often will you run your bot?
  • Are there any known difficulties in your bot and how does it interact with other bots running actually on lb-wikipedia (RobotQuistnix, Robbot, TuvicBot, Escarbot, FlaBot, JAnDbot, ...)
  • What will be the added value for lb-wikipedia if your bot runs there? (compared to other bots (especially those running already on lb-wikipedia))
  • Are you ready and able to run your bot for us if we will have a special request?

Until we will have granted you bot-status we ask you to do during a test -phase no more then 10 edits a day, unitl you will at least have achieved 40 edits and provided the answers to the above questions.

with best regards from Luxembourg lb:User:Robby —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.222.32.250 (talk) 09:43, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Someone who can read Arabic

I found you through running an intersection of Category:Wikipedia administrators and Category:User ar-N. I found User:Holmes.sherlock by two wierd edits (into chineese and then back again) to Wikipedia:Bot requests. On visiting his usertalk to ask why I notice that his User page is written in Arabic. I can't remember if that's prohibited, but regardless I wondered if you could have a look and make sure it's not saying anything nasty. It's probably just a bad machine translation, but you never know. Many thanks, Happymelon 15:35, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

OK thanks. Always better safe than sorry. Happymelon 18:23, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

images for bio

So, in arabic do you prefer images on left? And it is إضافة صورة من http://tools.wikimedia.de/~emijrp/imagesforbio/ or http://tools.wikimedia.de/~emijrp/imagesforbio/ إضافة صورة من ? --Emijrp (talk) 10:20, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi. Yes, please make the tool add images on left. For example, this image should have been added on left of the page. The first edit summary is correct. It is not working correctly here because the English Wikipedia is configured as an ltr wiki. It will work correctly on the Arabic Wikipedia where it is intended to be used. Thank you. --Meno25 (talk) 18:46, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Masarrwa zay ba3d

سلام,

Hi, im Ahmed, im a member in Arab World Project, and Egyptian wiki Project..

i have suggested to the Arab project founder that we have some kind of mutual cooperation between the Arab world project and Arab states, to share Maps, informations, pictures, and support each others in acts of vandalism etc.. also support each others in Articles proposed for speedy deletion من قبل الاسرائلين, الايرانيين, او اي حد عايذ يخرب الصفح العربية.

Anyways, i was also hoping that you consider being a member in the Arab world project too, since you will benefit us remarkebly, based on your experiance in Egyptian Project..

and one last thing, i noticed that their will be a Wikimania conference in Alexandria, i think i will be able to help you alot, in preparing for it, we keda ya3ni, 3emoman i live in Cairo, fa law 37tagto ay 7aga, we can get intouch...

salam سلام
