Searchlight Pictures films

[edit]

Hello. My name is ZX2006XZ. Yesterday, I discovered that the Searchlight Pictures film Rye Lane was scheduled for a Hulu release date of March 31, 2023, but this is according to this link, which I found in the revision history of List of Searchlight Pictures films. The link is a PDF of Searchlight 's upcoming slate of films and TV series, as of December 12. Additionally, I also found another link of Searchlight's upcoming slate as of November 18, which was found in the revision history of List of Walt Disney Studios films (2020–2029). Where did you find these links? I'm only asking in curiosity. ZX2006XZ (talk) 13:29, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I found the slate preview pdfs here https://press.searchlightpictures.com/ The slate preview is updated every two or three weeks. Mediafan200 (talk) 13:39, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. ZX2006XZ (talk) 14:39, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Jdjmsrubbsbjjw

[edit]

Hi Mediafan200, at the moment Jdjmsrubbsbjjw is close to being blocked, but not quite there just yet. Could you explain why his edits need reverting, so I can see if his edits are non-constructive? Thanks. PhilKnight (talk) 16:23, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I’m sorry for vandalism, I will never do it again Jdjmsrubbsbjjw (talk) 16:29, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
He made some edits on the 20th Century, 20th Family and 20th Digital pages that has no sources or were false. He also changed the title in the source to make to look it like his changes were correct. Mediafan200 (talk) 17:34, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a diff for the changing of the title in the source? PhilKnight (talk) 18:12, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not right now Mediafan200 (talk) 18:51, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry, he's been blocked. PhilKnight (talk) 19:39, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No Undo for page. 145.255.9.136 (talk) 15:01, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I undid it because your edits are incorrect. Mediafan200 (talk) 15:11, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

Hey there, i can see why you remove all of the notes that i've added on every page related to Disney?

It might not have been fair to remove them but i think it should be appropriate to add some notes as it should be deemed necessary in the future where feasible if we can agree on that?

Thanks. 2A02:C7C:F05E:6F00:21E9:5950:6936:9BA1 (talk) 19:36, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The note you added to the logo section of Walt Disney Pictures page was speculative and unnecessary. If you're the one who added notes about Searchlight Pictures, Marvel Studios, etc on the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures page, they are either incorrect, outdated or redundant. One Question

[edit]

Notice: I discovered you reverting some studies about Disney studios such as Walt Disney Pictures, 20th Century Studios, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. What is that you don’t like about the changes? 157.23.249.80 (talk) 21:57, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

Hello Mediafan200. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary or only using a default edit summary (especially when undoing an edit). Please do your best to always explain the reason for your edit in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, and it helps newer editors understand why their changes have been undone when that's the case. Thanks! Daniel Quinlan (talk) 21:34, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

[edit]

Please do not undo new categories like you did in Walt Disney Pictures, I know you don't think it's a film distributor, but to be fair, the production logo is literally seen in every film owned by Disney. 108.203.3.27 (talk) 19:46, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And Mediafan200, please do not delete this comment. You don’t even know what you’re doing. 2600:1004:B25B:9BB7:BDDC:504B:F9BB:DFEF (talk) 22:04, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are making new accounts with different IP addresses to add incorrect information to certain pages over three or four days. Walt Disney Pictures =/= Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Mediafan200 (talk) 22:07, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Walt Disney Pictures is a distribution company as well as a production company because Walt Disney Pictures has put its production logo up on the screen on every Disney movie since 1985. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is just the distributor, but exhibitor because it normally puts out the motion pictures in theaters like AMC or Cinemark.
Note: Distributing and exhibiting don’t always have to mean the same time, neither is production. 2600:1004:B25B:9BB7:BDDC:504B:F9BB:DFEF (talk) 22:11, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Theaters negotiate with Walt Disney Studios Motions Pictures regardless if the Walt Disney Pictures logo is front of the film or not. If the film is coming from Walt Disney Studios then Walt Disney Studios Motions Pictures is the distributor/exhibitor. Mediafan200 (talk) 22:18, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
However, regardless about Disney, Walt Disney Pictures still minorly distributes and produces while Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures majorly distributes or exhibits. I know this better whenever a production logo is out there by random distributor (e.g. Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Gaumont). 2600:1004:B25B:9BB7:BDDC:504B:F9BB:DFEF (talk) 22:25, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
